Friday the 13th (and I'm a black cat!)

I don't know if anyone out there is superstitious but this combination might be bad for those of you who are! Mum and dad are clearly not superstitious since they have me (the most prettiest black cat in the country) but my grandma is not so sure! I have heard mum say that she is "not a cat/person". Well duh, of course not, she's a human? I have never seen a cat/person before in my life. Mum is silly.

Did you all see Stormy's post today? I always knew she was very wise! Zimmie has been my best pup-bud for a while now so I knew he wouldn't hurt me. And Dave and I share the same colours! Maybe I could be a guide cat for the colour blind? Maybe not, it sounds like a lot of hard work to me.

This morning I went outside as soon as dad got out of bed and opened the door for me. I even climbed over the back fence and visited the neighbours for a bit. But I came home before mum and dad went to work so I am inside where it's warm now. Today it's going to be chilly in Melbourne - about 13deg C - I'd rather be in bed! I slept between mum and dad last night again until dad squashed me, then I moved over to mum's side and slept there. She doesn't squish me like dad does.

After saying to a few pups this week that we never get big storms here we had one last night! There wasn't any thunder but the rain and wind were really loud! I had to sit right next to mum to be safe. Dad patted me to calm me down so I started purring. It was all okay.

Hello Huffle

Thor is asleep and I saw your message, Me(Mama), MrSippi and Carolina, The fur-Kats from Thor's house would love to link to you and please link to us. When Thor isn't looking tomorrow, I will put some beautiful pictures of us out on their blog. You are such a beautiful Kit-Kat, I am almost all black like you. When I was a young girl, I used to travel outside like you but Mom doesn't let me go outside mow.

Happy Friday the 13th, Huffle! Speaking personally, we've always LOVED it when a black cat crosses our path. Good luck with the cold and the rain--we'll keep a spot for you on the back of our sofa if you need to get away for awile.

Stay safe on Friday the 13th. You should go try to freak some people out by walking under ladders and knocking mirrors off walls and counters to they break. It could be really funny.

PS. You asked who would be taking care of me during the camping trip. I'm not going. Camping isn't my style. I'm going to stay home alone and bask in being able to do whatever I want for two days. I have a water fountain and a feeder that works on a timer, so I'll have my essentials. :-)

Hey Huffle, it would be COOL to have a black cat cross my path - as long as it's YOU! Ha roooo!
I think you'd make a great guide cat! From what I've seen of Dave, it means napping on the puffy bed in the studio, and occasionally telling Mom what matches what. And more naps. I think you could do it - REALLY!
Hey, I love your Cat Pack badge! Very cool!
Play bows,
Your pup-bud,

Oh Huffle... I like what Wilber said... and to add to it, woo need to run in front of a human from left to right. When mom sees a black cat run across the road from the left to right, she makes an "X" Mark on the windshield. She is silly.
