Saturday Stuff
It is raining here today. We are supposed to get 13 years worth of rain in one day. This is not good for black cats.

I'm going upstairs to bed if anyone is looking for me.
p.s. Sorry I have not been around to visit much this week. Mum has been really sick and even had a scratch on her eye, which made looking at the computer screen a bit difficult.

Monday Musings
It has been pouring with rain for DAYS now and I am so bored! I have to take a lot of naps to get over the boredom.
Napping helps. Really.

Recovering
After all the excitement of the Cat-O-Lympics, I've had to take some serious naps myself. As you can see here.

Recovering
After all the excitement of the new year, life is getting back to normal today. I am celebrating by having a nap in my purple Huffle bed.

See that bag? That's my Huffle Duffel and it has lots and lots of my toys in it!

Vocabulary
My friend Percy the black cat (go and visit - he's very cool) said the other day when I had one of my balcony photos up that I looked like I was doing a good job of snoozing and snoopervising. Which made me think of a new word: snoozervising! It's where you snoopervise something, but with little catnaps in the middle. Isn't it a great word?
How do I get Oxford to put it in their dictionary?

Shiny Furs
Last week my friends Tipper and Misty asked me about how I keep my furs so nice and shiny. It's a complicated process so you might want to write it down, or maybe print out this page so you can refer to it later.
- First, it's very important to have a lot of baths. I have at least six per day. But not the kind that involve water.
- Second, you must sit in the sun a lot.
- Third, sitting by the heater as much as you can helps a lot.
- Fourth, if you can sleep under the doona (duvet) you will keep your furs shiny.
- Fifth, you must take a LOT of naps.
- Finally, convincing your mum or dad to give you ham or roast chicken helps most of all.

Bits and Bobs
Cats with Blogs now has 120 members! How fantastic. But I know there are lots more cat bloggers out there who still have to join. Come on everycat, we need to beat the dogs!
It has been a bit cold here this week. This means I have to spend a lot of time doing this:
And of course, interviewing Gerri was pretty tiring so I needed a lot of naps before, during and after the interview. Don't forget to enter the competition! I realise some of you may not be able to use the link to my email address so here it is properly: hufflemawsonATgmailDOTcom . I think you know what I mean.

A Week of Sleeping, Part 4
This is one of my favourite places to sleep, on the couch near the television so I can watch the cricket whilst catching up on my naps. I have three cushions at my back, and there is another space behind my tail so I have plenty of room to stretch if I want to.
I don't like anyone to sit too close to me on the couch, usually I will get up and move if someone sits near me. I need my personal space.

A Week of Sleeping, Part 2
Unlike my lucky friend Wilbur, we do not have a fireplace in our house so I have to find my own toasty places to sleep when it's cold.
When your mum is putting clean sheets on the bed is always a good idea! There will be a nice doona (duvet, comforter, quilt) all scrunched up nicely for you to snuggle into.
I highly recommend this position.

A Week of Sleeping, Part 1
Last week, my friend Wilbur did a very good post about his sleeping positions. It was very interesting and it made me think about the various places I sleep in during the day, I mean at night.
This is one my newest spots to sleep in, right behind dad's chair at his computer. It's a very sunny spot and keeps me nice and toasty. It means dad can't move from his chair in case he runs me over (he did run over my tail once, I had to yell at him for that) but really, since it's all about me, I don't think that matters.

Slacking on Sunday
Last night, Charlie and Opy's mum and dad came for dinner. They are very good dinner guests; they remembered to bring me a present! I got a new mouse and some Temptations. Very tasty - thanks Charlie and Opy's mum and dad!
Anyway it was a late night last night, so we have been sleeping in today. I managed to escape out the garage door and lie on the front porch for a change. Mum caught me, took this photo, then shooed me back inside.

Hanging out with Huffle
Today I'm just hanging out in the garden. I like to sit out here when it's warm.
After inspecting the weeds that are growing in my backyard, I decided to have a bit of a nap. It's hard work doing the gardening!
I was lying on the concrete that wasn't in the sun any more, but it was still nice and warm.

Resting
Did you all see my best friend Zimmie's post from Sunday? He demonstrated a new position to sleep in. This is my version.
I don't have my head hidden like Zimmie did but I think my back paw pawsition is pretty close. What do you think?

The Huffle House
This is my Huffle House. When I first got here, I used to sleep in the Huffle House all the time. Then poo-face Salvador used to climb up and annoy me so I stopped. Now he's getting older and grumpier and leaves me alone so I can sleep in there again. It's part of the Cat Tree that dad got for us. You can see dad woke me up by taking this photo. I wasn't happy.
