Thursday on the balcony

We had four spiders in the house last week so mum refused to open the door to my balcony for me, she says they come in the house from out there.

I say it's not fair and I should be allowed out on my balcony any time I please.  What if the neighbours miss me?  What if the kids are playing soccer and I have to referee?  What if something happens and I don't get to see it?

No, this is not acceptable.  LET ME OUT!

Posing on Monday

When I am allowed out on the balcony during the summer, this is what visitors to our house are greeted with.

If I don't like the look of the visitors, I tell mum not to let them in. All of you would be allowed in immediately, of course.

Thursday on the balcony

It was sunny last weekend so mum let me out on the balcony.

I had to do my exercises AND watch the neighbours all at the same time. It's hard work being a multi-tasking cat.

Helpful Huffle

Mum has this thing she calls her "shoe project". If any of your mums or dads are friends with her on FaceBook you'll know what she's on about.

She takes photos of all her shoes and then sticks the pictures on the front of the shoe box. I think she could spend her time doing something more worthwhile, like helping me visit my friends, but humans get weird ideas in their heads sometimes.

Anyway, this time I decided to help.

I think I did a good job too.

Sundays with Huffle Mawson

Sundays are for being lazy in my house. Well, mum and dad are going out today but I'll be staying here, lazing on the deck or on the bed. I can't get out on the balcony when mum and dad are not home, they shut the door. Isn't that rude?

So I'll be doing some snoozervising, like this. Happy Sunday everyone!

Vocabulary

Deck 64

My friend Percy the black cat (go and visit - he's very cool) said the other day when I had one of my balcony photos up that I looked like I was doing a good job of snoozing and snoopervising. Which made me think of a new word: snoozervising! It's where you snoopervise something, but with little catnaps in the middle. Isn't it a great word?

How do I get Oxford to put it in their dictionary?

Sometimes you need to mix it up a bit

And so here I am hanging out on my balcony for a change.

Huffle Balcony 1

I like it up here - I can see the whole street and over the weekend I watched the neighbours moving out! It was very exciting, there were people and there was a truck and there was so much going on that I had to snoopervise!

Huffle's new collar

I showed you a photo last week of my old purple collar with the fishes on it. That collar was very old, I had it from nearly the day I arrived here over three years ago. On the weekend, mum decided to buy me a new collar! This one is pink with little hearts all over it, and it says LOVE. I think this means mum and dad love me. Which is good. You can click on the photo to see it up closer if you want.

Oh, and that photo is from when mum was trying to take photos of her new shoes, and I was snoopervising her. I'm very helpful like that.

Working Hard

Last weekend, the neighbours across the road were having a party. I had to go out on my balcony and snoopervise the preparations. Obviously, the best way to do that is upside down.

Scoping out the street

The other day I was out on my balcony. Just watching the world go by. A cat has to snoopervise sometimes, you know.
Nothing very exciting was happening in my street, although there were some noisy kids out there. They went away after a while though.
