Fin wanted to know: What's Teddy's favorite toy?
About 20 seconds after he moved in here, Teddy saw Timmy (a former candidate for the position of my bodyguard) stuck to the heater and grabbed him. He carries Timmy around everywhere he goes, and runs up and down the stairs with him in his mouth.
He also loves CatDog, which is a stuffed toy that dad has had for years. He used to live on the half-wall in mum and dad's bedroom until Teddy got here. The second day he was here, he jumped up and grabbed CatDog (no-one is really sure if it's meant to be a cat or a dog, so it's called CatDog) and carries him around as much as he does Timmy.
Finally, the grey mousie that used to hang on a string near the stairs that Addie and Lucie sent to me YEARS ago is no longer attached to its string because Teddy runs around madly with it.
Notice that CatDog has nearly been decapitated. I am very sorry to report that since this photo was taken, CatDog has lost his head.

Thursday action
This is a picture of me playing with my Sardinie, sent to me by the very wonderful Mrs Shelli (mum to my BFF Tia and her sisters Sitka and Cornelia Marie).
I love to play with Sardinie, he is my favourite toy and if he gets lost under the couch or TV cabinet I sit and look sad until dad rescues him for me.

Special Huffle Toys and an Award
The other day I showed you the very cool card I got from Meeshka. I was so excited! But, then I realised that I hadn't shown you all the toys that Zim, Stormy, Amber and Dave sent me!
Here I am sleeping with my puppy wubba. Dave tried really hard to fine me a kitty wubba but this is just as good. I sleep with my paws around it most nights.

This is me with all my new toys that I've gotten recently. You can see the alligator I won during Steve, Kat and Wilbur's Day of Blogs. Sadly, I have to report that he does not taste like chicken.
Mr Mouse has turned out to be a very good bodyguard (most of the time) and I love the roly poly mice! I chase them all over the house.
Thanks also to Thomas, Phoebe and Trixie for giving me the Brillante Weblog Award!
I'm a lucky kitty to have such nice friends!

Saturday sleep in
Last night I was so chilly I had to stay on the bed with mum and dad all night. Then this morning I got under the doona to get toasty. I was so happy and purring! Mum even had coffee this morning and didn't spill it or anything.
Today mum and dad went out for lunch. I stayed asleep in their bed all day. I was guarding it from intruders. Really! When they arrived home they didn't have any new mouses for me which is a great disappointment. I'm really going to have to do something about this.
I've just been outside being an explorer cat but it's getting cold so I had to come in again. My paws get so chilly!
Oh and Tia, I do like to spread my toys around the house. The tail from one of my mouses that broke off (I have NO idea how it happened, really) I took upstairs to play with one day. Mum and dad thought that was funny. I don't see why; I should get to have my toys wherever I want!
Just an aside - did anyone notice my colour co-ordination in the picture of me in my Huffle bed? Purple bed, purple collar...

Shameful secret
I played with the foil "ball" toy again last night. I couldn't help it! It skitters so nicely along the floor that I am compelled to chase it. I will make mum throw it in the bin tonight so I am not tempted any more.
This morning it was a bit cold in our house so I decided to get under the doona with mum and dad. Dad never pays any attention to me when I jump on the bed so I went over to mum and head butted her. She woke up pretty quickly! Then she lifts the corner of the doona up and lets me get underneath so I can claw her (are you proud of me, Meeshka?) and purr very loudly. Sometimes if I am in the middle of the bed dad rolls on top of me and I don't like that. He didn't do that this morning so I am not a flat black cat.
Tomorrow is Saturday. I wonder if there will be coffee in bed???

Pathetic
Dad made me a new toy this morning. It was pathetic. All he did was cut off some aluminium paper and scrunch it up. Oh sure, I chased it, and it does move fast on our big shiny tiles, but dad, come on! We all know mouses are much better toys. I gave up chasing after about two minutes. Then dad had to get the "toy" out from under the couch. Ha, that will teach him!
I'm so deprived. Can someone call the RSPCA?
