The Terrible Twos

Woohoo it's my birthday!  I am officially a BIG boy now and I am two!  Can you believe I was ever this little?

He is so impressed with it he can hardly fit though the cat door any more.

Mancat Monday - We're Back!

This moving business was hard work.  I had to take eleventy naps on the boxes because it made me so tired.

Birthday Boy

Huffle said I could have a big party today because it is my birthday. I am ONE year old! I am officially a mancat, even though I have really been a mancat since the third day I arrived here.

Finally, my friends Jack and Moo are hosting their annual Show Us Your Treat Jar event today.  They think it's a good idea to share our treats with all the pups and kitties who are less fortunate than us.  I don't have any photos of treats to show you, because we are very deprived and don't have any treats in a jar, but I will talk mum into sending some treats to our local shelter this week.

Teddy on Tuesday

Did you know that on Saturday, I will be ONE year old?  Yes, I will be all grown up and a big mancat!

I like birds.  A lot.  I spend most of my outside time chatting to the birds.  One day I will convince a bird to come into my yard and play with me.

Meanwhile, I discovered that from this window upstairs, which is higher than mum's head, I can see for miles and see all the birds that are around!

Friday stuff

Fin wanted to know: What's Teddy's favorite toy?

About 20 seconds after he moved in here, Teddy saw Timmy (a former candidate for the position of my bodyguard) stuck to the heater and grabbed him.  He carries Timmy around everywhere he goes, and runs up and down the stairs with him in his mouth.

He also loves CatDog, which is a stuffed toy that dad has had for years.  He used to live on the half-wall in mum and dad's bedroom until Teddy got here.  The second day he was here, he jumped up and grabbed CatDog (no-one is really sure if it's meant to be a cat or a dog, so it's called CatDog) and carries him around as much as he does Timmy.

Finally, the grey mousie that used to hang on a string near the stairs that Addie and Lucie sent to me YEARS ago is no longer attached to its string because Teddy runs around madly with it.

Notice that CatDog has nearly been decapitated. I am very sorry to report that since this photo was taken, CatDog has lost his head.

Wordy Wednesday

Look at this face.

This does not look like the face of a monster does it? But he is. Teddy cannot help himself and jumps on me All The Time. The other day, he jumped on me and then bit my ear! Mum yelled at him real loud for that. And he spent two hours in the garage.

What a goon. A fluffy goon.

Mental Mancat Monday

I am allowed in the back yard now and my favourite thing to do is hide in the garden and jump on anyone who comes near me, especially Huffle. For some reason, she does not find this nearly as much fun as I do.

I don't know why.

As I mentioned the other day, last weekend I did something so naughty mum was speechless.  Here are the pictures to show you what happened.

It's not my fault. Mum left the cupboard door open so I did what any good HULA member would do.

Finally Friday

It has been a very long week here.  It rained a lot which means I wasn't able to escape outside to get away from the monster Teddy.  He has been in a lot of timeouts because he is so naughty.  And he keeps jumping on me.

However, I now have the perfect Teddy-sized box and I am willing to post him anywhere in the world if you want him!
