Tuesday Telling

So mum and dad have been home for four whole days now and I have still not seen a single present for Huffle.  Also: mum wrapped all the Christmas presents on the weekend and I did not see a single thing with my name on it.  Do you think I have been a very bad kitty this year and I'm not getting any presents?

A present for Huffle Mawson

A few weeks ago, my friends Fui and Suey had a tipping competition for the Australia NRL Grand Final. Fui's team the Parramatta Eels were playing my team, the Melbourne Storm. We had to guess who would win. I guessed right (of course it was the Melbourne Storm!) so Fuey and Sui made a donation to the RSPCA on my behalf, and sent me a little present, which mum just picked up from the post office yesterday.

Look, an envelope addressed specially to me!

And inside was a donation card, a special note from Fui and Suey, and a packet of temptations!

Thanks kitties, you are the best!

Super present

When mum arrived home from work on Friday, this box was sitting on our coffee table. I had to tell her that the cleaning lady brought it in from the mailman for me. That's right, it was addressed to me, Huffle Mawson!
Present 01

It's from Casbah Kitten's Etsy shop and now I have my very own Supa Kitteh! My dear friend Angus Mhor sent it to me. Isn't he the best?
Present 03

I have been playing with my Supa Kitteh but I play too fast for mum to get a decent picture!

Present 04

Also in the package was a a yummy Jellybean toy. Mum had left it on the coffee table last night and so I jumped up and played with it and knocked it on the floor and chased it around the house.

Thanks Angus, I love my new toys! Mum says she will try and get video of me playing with them but she isn't promising, as I tend to stop moving when the video camera comes out.

Paw it Forward

Look what I got from my dear friend Ginger Jasper all the way in England! I played Paw it Forward with him and my package arrived this week!

There was a wonderful card with a very sweet message for me in it:
And look at this big box of stuff! See the big blue sticker on the side (you can click to biggify) which means the quarantine people opened MY present, and they took out the cat treats! Apparently they contained something that wasn't allowed to come into Australia. Hmpf.

Anyway, look at all the great stuff that they did let me keep! I have several new mouses, a feather boa toy, a cat tent, and a butterfly with catnip in it! So far I have been playing with the Jittery Critter and having a great time. Oh, and there was a little photo frame with a magnet on it that Ginger Jasper said I should have my mum put my picture in. I think that's a great idea.If one or two pups or kitties would like to play paw it forward with me, please let me know in the comments. The idea is you send the recipient a present, just for fun. It doesn't have to be anything expensive, and could be something that represents who you are, or even where you come from.

Thanks again Ginger Jasper, I love all my new presents!

TWO presents!

I am just about the luckiest kitty in the world. Mum had a note to go to the post office and collect a parcel this week, so she went on Friday afternoon to collect it. And guess what it was? Something addressed to mum AND me!

My BFF Tia and her mum sent me and my mum this beautiful toasty couch blanket, which Tia's mum embroidered herself! Isn't it wonderful? I have had mum put this next to my heater so that I can be extra toasty. It's lovely and soft and warm and I love it!I also got three toys that you can see in that photo, a mouse and a sardine stuffed with catnip, and a laser pointer mouse. Mum hadn't even removed the packaging from the sardine when I started biting it, here are a couple of action shots of me playing with it.

And then, in the post this week also arrived a card from my friend Edda! Her brother the Daniel kitten was born a few months ago and he was very very early so mum and I sent Edda and her mum and Daniel a little present, and she wrote me this pretty card to say thank you!
So thank you to Edda and Edda's mum, and to Tia and Tia's mum! I love all my new presents.

Huffle Duffel!

My Huffle Duffel has arrived! Look, here it is! My best friend Zim's mum makes bags and things and I asked her to make me a Huffle Duffel (which was named after me, how cool is that?) for me to keep my mouses in. It got delivered this week!
But look what was inside! Zimmie sent me some presents! This one is a kitty wubba, which has a bell inside and the legs make a crinkly noise when I attack them. It's very cool. Mum already has a video of me playing with this, I'll show you that soon. This is a little Siberian puppy! Zim wrote me my very own card and part of his message said that maybe the puppy could step in for Bazza if I need a new bodyguard. I think that's a great idea. Now we just have to think of a name for the puppy. I want to call it Zim but mum thinks she might get confused. What do you think?
Here is my Huffle Duffel sitting inside my purple Huffle bed, stuffed with all my mouses, including the mousefish and the mouseduck. It's the perfect size.
Here's the view from the top.
And look, this is the card that Zim wrote to me. He has very nice pawmanship, I must say. He said it was a cool bug on the front and I have to agree! If we lived in the same country we could get together and chase bugs! Then have some catnaps.
Thank you Zimmie and Mum-o-Ao4! I love my Huffle Duffel and my presents!

A special delivery for Huffle Mawson

The other day when mum got home from work and brought the mail inside with her, there was a special envelope addressed to me, Huffle Mawson! It was from Mason Dixie and was my prize for entering the Blog Award Design competition she had a little while back.
I didn't win the competition but I think I came second. Thanks again to everypup and kitty who voted for me. Mason said if I had only entered one design I probably would have won easily! Oh well. It was good fun anyway.

Thanks Mason Dixie, my card and magnet with MY picture on it is awesome!

Recovering

I forgot to say yesterday in my vet report that the vet said I am in very good health for a nearly-nine-years-old kitty. I wouldn't need to go and see him again for at least five years, will I?

On Saturday night, mum and dad went to visit Charlie and Opy's mum and dad. They didn't get home until 12.30am on Sunday morning so they must have had a good time. But most importantly, Charlie and Opy and their mum and dad sent me a Christmas present! I got some new mouses, including a fish mouse, and a Christmas card. You can't see it though, some of you are getting cards from Charlie and Opy if you are in the Dogs with Blogs Christmas Card exchange so I don't want to spoil your surprise.
I also got a bag of treats! They are Huffle-sized chicken and fish sandwiches! They are so very tasty, and now I don't feel so bad that my mum can't find Temptations for me. Thanks Charlie and Opy, and your mum and dad!

Special things for Huffle

Remember a few days ago when I showed you all the lovely presents from Khyra and Wilbur, Steve and Kat? Well, Khyra and her mum also sent my mum a card but look!
Doesn't it look just like me? Inside there was this message for my mum and dad from Khyra and her mum.
AND Khyra put in a picture of herself and a little note saying Hi Huffle! Isn't that nice? I need to get mum to buy me a frame so I can put my picture of Khyra in it. And the OTHER thing that Khyra put in for me was a little baggie of her fur! So now I can keep her smell with her photo to remind me of her all the time. It's furry khool, as Khyra would say.

Special Huffle Things

While mum and dad were away almost forever, they met up with Steve and Kat and their mum and dad for lunch one day. Steve said mum and dad were well behaved so that was good. Wilbur, Steve, Kat and their mum and dad, and Khyra and her mum, sent along some presents for me! I have such nice friends.
Khyra and her mum also sent my mum and dad a card with a picture on it of a cat who looks just like me! I'll show you a picture of that another day.

I hope you enjoyed Turbo's debate against the Dyson Animal today too.

Huffle's present

Lookie what Queen Meeshka sent me! My very own card addressed to me, Huffle Mawson!

Isn't it great!

Meeshka's Week of 100 starts today so get over there and check it out. Okay well maybe in a few hours since stupid Merryland is a few hours behind Melbourne.
