Pupparazzi attack

I finally let mum take a photo of me almost looking right at the camera. I thought she might need something to remember me with when she leaves me alone for FOUR weeks on Friday.

Huffle the Mighty Hunter

The other night I was outside playing and I caught a gecko! A gecko is a bit like a tiny lizard. The pupparazzi heard me yelling at the gecko and came out with the camera but they got a bit excited and over-exposed me in the photo. I am not sure what that means but I don't think it's a good thing. Anyway you can only see the gecko in this photo if you make it bigger and look really hard at where the arrow is pointing.

Ham!

Tia, you might not want to look at the pictures today because they show me eating ham and I know you're not allowed to have any.

When mum opens the container with the ham in it, I know exactly what it sounds like and I come running over to the fridge! Because I am a good girl and don't nag her to feed me, I usually get a bit of ham of my very own.

Planning my world tour

Hi pups and kitties. Huffle's big world tour kicks off next Friday on 3 October. I just thought I'd show you a little bit of the planning I have been doing.
This is just the map of the USA that I have been using to plan where I am going to visit all my friends! I have a map of the UK as well, plus one of Tasmania so I know where to go when I visit my friend Pablo.

I am not sure how many national monuments and things I will be able to see; I have a lot of friends to visit before mum comes home! Oh, and someone asked if Aunt Lisa will be suspicious when I'm not here for a month. Don't worry, I have a plan for that too. I will pretend to be asleep under the bed and Salvador will eat all my food so she won't suspect a thing.

My friends Thunder, Phantom and Dakota gave me an award! It's the I Love Your Blog award and it's very very cool.
Thanks pups! There are always rules that go with these things but I'm not good with rules. I'm giving this to Sitka, Tia and Cornelia Marie. Their mum has had a tough time lately and they all need some cheering up.

Charity Blogging

From Sunday 28th September through to Sunday October 5th my friend Ben the Rotti will be hosting the Supporting Troops Supporting Dogs Nowzad Fundraiser.

More tips on toasty

I know a lot of you are heading in to winter soon (well, in a couple of months) so I wanted to pass along some more tips on staying toasty when it's cold outside.

This is a very advanced pose for toasty paws. You have to lay somewhere and keep just your paws in the sun. This will keep the rest of you warm and you can nap for ages without getting cold.

Play session

The other day I was minding my own business and playing with Mr Mouse when the pupparazzi decided to get in on the act. Not just one of them; both of them! Honestly, what's a cat to do?

I was laying around and Mr Mouse and I were talking about my best friend Zimmie...

...when someone came past and tried to steal Mr Mouse away from me! I can't have that - he is my bodyguard and my best friend Zimmie sent him to me all the way from Kansas! I had to get him back:
Luckily I managed to rescue Mr Mouse from his mousenappers and he is back safe with me now. It was a close call though.

No mum, I'm still not talking to you. You're leaving me alone for FOUR whole weeks!

Disaster!

This has not been a good week. First I found out I am being left alone for FOUR whole weeks and then Mr Mouse disappeared! I looked for him and looked for him but I couldn't find him anywhere. I was so worried about him.

Mum looked and looked for him when she got home from work but she couldn't find him either. We had to get dad onto the job. We made him get down on the floor and look under all the furniture. Eventually he had to get a long stick out to dig Mr Mouse out from under the TV cabinet.

I don't know how he got under there. Maybe he was on a secret mission? But I am happy to have Mr Mouse back now. I have been playing with him all day.
