Miraculous Monday

This is me and Teddy in the same photo! It hardly ever happens. I was sunning myself on the driveway near the neighbour's car and he came out to annoy me.

Finally Friday

It''s Friday and after the longest wettest winter in YEARS we finally had some sun here this week.  I had to take advantage of it immediately.

Mum is hoping that by next week we should have some idea of when we are moving house. Personally, I hope it's never. I like my deck.

Sunning on Saturday

Last week wasn't that hot so I have had to spend a lot of time inside.  This weekend we have some warm weather so I'm out soaking up as much sun as possible.

FINALLY summer is on the way and I am getting some good sunshines here. I have spent most of the weekend out on the deck, and I plan to do that a whole lot more today.

Mum found some caterpillars eating her lemon tree the other day so she knocked them on to the ground and I had a good time playing with them.  But when I came back out this morning they were gone.  Does anyone know where they went?

I will be very glad when summer arrives, as it has been the coldest and wettest spring we have had for about 14 years - more than all the years I've been alive!

I was minding my own business, having a nap in the sun in mum's wardrobe, when the pupparazzi showed up.

So I poked my tongue out at them.

Sunday Show Off

This is me lying around on the deck in the sun. I have three favourite places to take naps.

1. On the deck
2. In my toasty bed
3. In mum's wardrobe when the sun comes in

But on a nice warm day, there is nothing better than rolling around on the deck getting the sun on your furs, and plotting the demise of those annoying birds.

Monday Musings

I think that really, it's just too much to expect a black cat to be awake on a Monday morning.

So I'll just stay here in my sunspot until it's time to get up. No, it's not time to get up yet.

After the excitement of last weekend, I am not going anywhere near the wet part of the deck. So today I'm spending some time on the already stripped part of the deck and soaking up some rays. Who wants to come over?

Snoozing on Sunday Too

It's not my fault that random sunbeams appear in the house. As the resident cat, it is my duty to test them all for warmth.

Quality control testing. That's what I'm doing.

Toasty Tuesday

This weekend, the weather was cold but very sunny so I spent a bit of time out on my deck soaking up some rays.

Because it's nearly winter here, our deck only gets a bit of sun for part of the day so I have to take advantage of that. Mum and dad have unlocked my cat door again (it was locked when Cosi first got here so he couldn't run away) and I get to go outside when I want. It's much better that way.

Finally Friday

The weather this week has been so cold that I have to find all the sunny spots inside to toast myself. I was minding my own business here but then I thought that maybe someone should move that chair for me so I have enough room to really stretch out.

I don't think that's too much to ask for.

Thursday action

Normally I do Thursday on the Balcony but it's getting colder here as we head for winter so I am not spending much time on the balcony these days. Instead, I find spots in the sun inside the house and hang out there.

And then I have to cover my face with my paw because the pupparazzi show up.

A cat never gets any peace.

My friend Oscar had his first chemotherapy treatment yesterday. Please keep giving him and his people support through this tough time.

Fun on Fridays with Huffle Mawson

A lot of my friends have been complaining about the cold and snow that they have at the moment. Except the sibes; they love the snow. But for those of you who do not like the cold, please feel free to come over to my house and hang out with me this weekend. It is going to be over 30 deg C/86F each day and we can all hang out on the sunny deck and eat some ham. Maybe I can convince mum to get us some prawns too.

I hear a lot of pups and kitties are having really cold weather at the moment. Since it is sunny and warm here you are all welcome to come and hang out with me. Mum will lay on the Fancy Feast and I hear there is ham for Christmas.

p.s. I was snoopervising the present wrapping festival yesterday and I didn't see anything with my name on it. Should I be worried?

It's sunny Sunday out on my new deck! Who wants to come over?

Position is everything

On the weekend, when it was sunny, I had to sleep wherever the sun was. This is me in the hallway upstairs outside the bedroom with MY bed in it. About an hour later, I had to move closer to the door to follow the sun. Position is EVERYthing when it comes to being toasty.

Easy like Sunday morning

This is what I plan to do today everypup and everykitty. It's a bit chilly out so I'm keeping it toasty inside. You should all find your own sunbeam to lay in.
