Sunday Awards

A few weeks ago, my new friends at RottRover gave me an award!  Have you met the rotties at RottRover?  If you haven't, you should go and say hi because they are quite wonderful.  Anyhow, they have very kindly given me the Stylish Blogger Award.  Thanks pups!  I have also been given this award by Batu Khan, and Slash and Bronzy.  Thanks kitties!

I am supposed to tell you some things about myself but I'm pretty sure there isn't anything you don't already know about me.  Maybe I can let the brat Teddy tell you all some things about him?

HI everybody!  Teddy here to tell you some new things about me.

1. I am just a little boy - I weigh only 1.2 kg.
2. I decided mum and dad would be my new family the second I saw them.
3. I was super brave the first time I went to the v-e-t, and didn't even cry when they took my temperature.
4. I do not have an off switch.
5. I would eat all of Huffle's food if mum and dad would let me.
6. 
   
7. My best friend is Huffle's former bodyguard, Timmy.
8. For some reason, mum and dad do not want me to get on the kitchen bench.  I am trying to change their minds about it.

Um, that is all I can think of to tell you right now.  Teddy OUT!

Saturday Stuff

Unfortunately I think that kitten is here to stay. But he is not allowed out in my backyard yet so at least I have some peace out here!  I have still been snoopervising dad when he is stripping the deck, but he has been a bit lazy lately and it's still not finished.  Really, there is only the patch I am sitting on that still has to be done.  I guess it's hard to do work outside when it is raining though.

I am not very happy about it, but it seems he is here to stay. He better not come out on my balcony, that's all I have to say about it.

Tuesday Tales

HI everyone!  How are you GOING?  My big sister Huffle said I should say HELLO and introduce myself to all her friends.

My name is Teddy and I have just moved in here! I am about 12 weeks old and mum found me in the front yard. I will tell you my whole story next week because right now I have to go and PLAY!

Special Friend on Friday

Ever since my boyfriendcat MrSippi went to the bridge in 2009, I have been a little bit lonely.  Oh sure, I can amuse myself most of the time, and frankly there's no room for another cat in my toasty bed, but every now and then a girl needs a special friend to snuggle with.

Well, a very special boy in Las Vegas (baby!) has shown me his CV to see if I might be interested in being a cougar.  I'm a panther but let's not get caught up in semantics.

So I thought it might be a good idea to submit my CV to CC and see if he feels the same way about me...

All about Huffle Mawson

1. I am a black cat, with three white furs on my right side.
2. I have two white whiskers, also on the right side.
3. I am ten years old, and I have lived with my family for five years.
4. I have very soft furs, and nice smelling breath.
5. I like ham, but I think I like prawns more.
6. I don't really like fish.
7. I caught a dragonfly once.
8. I don't like anyone to touch my back paws - I bit dad the other day when he tried.
9. My purr is so loud that sometimes mum can hear it from another room.
10. I am a big fan of watching sport on TV, especially cricket.

I hope that CC thinks my CV is okay, and likes me too!

Monday Musings

I am sitting just inside the door to my balcony, which opens off mum and dad's bedroom.

See the red rug behind me? I do Not Like red things, and I refuse to sit or walk on that red rug. Mum bought it because it matches my red chair, but I don't sit on the red chair either because I do Not Like red things.

Sunning on Saturday

Last week wasn't that hot so I have had to spend a lot of time inside.  This weekend we have some warm weather so I'm out soaking up as much sun as possible.

Thursday on the balcony

I haven't been out on the balcony that much lately.  So today I'm out here waving at the neighbours, checking up on the street. 

I think dad might need to clean my balcony again.

Recovering

It was a busy time over Christmas and new year here.  I have had to take a lot of naps to recover:

Remember earlier this week I mentioned the special snack I got on new year's eve? Well, it was my very favourite snack in the whole entire world: prawns! I got one two THREE of my very own prawns to eat all by myself!

And then I got TWO more prawns the next day for dinner.

I wish new year would happen more often.
