Tweet Week!

Tweet Week

My friend Fin over at Housecat Confidential is celebrating all things feathery this week so I thought I should join in the fun.

Since I have never been able to catch a bird for myself, I usually have mum go out and get them for me. Here are a couple of pictures of birds she's found lately:

chicken01

peacock01

These are both birds down at my grandma's house. For some reason, I've never been allowed to visit there. I don't know why. I think these two look super tasty, I mean fun!

It looks like that chicken has got his slippers on.
Mum said that there were peacocks at a hotel she stayed at last year. When she got there she told them they were handsome, but when they started screeching outside her bedroom window at 4am every morning, handsome is not what she was calling them.

Dear Huffle,
Don't eat the birds! Just chase them, its way more fun!
When I was a teeny pup a sparrow fell out of its nest while I was home alone. I petted it with my paw it until Mumma got home. But for some strange reason it ended up dieing of fright a short while after.
That big shiny bird would be loads of fun to chase wouldn't it?

smooches,
Mr Darcy

We wouldn't know what the birdies taste like... we have caught a couple. I released mine, Kayla kinda damaged the wing on another before it got away. We mostly like the chase.

LOL, those are BIG birds, we have never caught anything that size before! We prefer to stick to sparrows, robins and the like...
