Simba asked me this question: where does your surname (Mawson) and Teddy's (Westlife) come from?

Well, my name is Huffle Mawson after Hufflepuff from Harry Potter, and Mawson the Antarctic explorer, because I am an explorer cat.

Teddy Westlife is named after Teddy Westside from How I Met Your Mother.  Mum got the name slightly wrong but everyone thinks Westlife is better anyway, because they were a boy band and Teddy is enough trouble for five boys.

Teddy on Tuesday

Did you know that on Saturday, I will be ONE year old?  Yes, I will be all grown up and a big mancat!

I hope you will all come to my party.

Mad Monday

This weekend, mum and dad went away and left me all by myself!  Oh sure, Teddy was here, and Uncle Andrew came over to feed us, but still, I was alone all weekend.

So I'm not looking at the camera.

Finally Friday

That Teddy monster is not the only one who likes the garden!  I like to hide in here and chase the bugs, but only when Teddy is not around.  Otherwise he chases me.

Happy weekend everyone! Mum and dad will be away this weekend so I might not get to visit much, but I'll be thinking of you all.

Ask Huffle Thursday

Mr Puddy has another question for me: I have a question !!! Do your pawrent brush your teeth ? if yes, how often ?

The answer is no! I used to have stinky breath but now my dry foods are t/d which keeps my teeth nice and clean and my breaths smelling fresh. The vet checks my teeth every year and she said I have good teeth for an older kitty!

Hmmm, I wonder if I can bribe her to remove all Teddy's teeth so he can't bite me any more?

Ask Huffle Thursday

Greencheerios asked me this question: Huffle how come your toe nails are always so long in pictures? Are you not very nice when mum and dad try to trim them?

Um, no, I do not like my nails being trimmed.  I don't like ANYONE to touch my back paws at all, and I'll only tolerate someone touching my front paws for a minute or two.  Mum and dad have never bothered to trim my nails because I am a good girl and I don't scratch anything except my scratching post.  Also, they said I could keep my nails when Teddy started jumping on me, so I can defend myself if I have to.
