Monday Musings

Sorry we have not been around much lately.  Mum hasn't been well with horrible migraines so I have had to do my nursing duties and take lots of long naps with her.  It's a tough job but somecat's gotta do it.

Anyway we're taking this week off so mum can "get her head together" and then we'll be back next week.  You won't believe where we caught Teddy last week!  And I hope all of my wonderful friends had a lovely easter!  I didn't get any ham, in case you were wondering.

Sunning on Saturday

With a few breaks of sunshine, it is very nice to get out into the garden for a bit.  As long as that stinker Teddy doesn't chase me out here.

But he does. And I don't like it.

Thursday on the balcony

Mum says that when we move house in the next few weeks, I will not have a balcony. I think this is most unfair so if you could please all tell my mum that I MUST have my own balcony I would be most appreciative.

Teddy on Tuesday

If mum does not want to me sit on the coffee table, why does she take photos of me when I do?

Snoozy Sunday

It has been getting colder here. Winter is coming. So I have to take advantage of every sun puddle that I can, and take as many naps as possible.

You should all do the same, just in case.

Finally Friday

Mum was away for work last week.  I helped out dad by napping next to him on the bed at night.

I had at least two-thirds of the bed to myself. It was pretty good. And dad didn't feel too lonely!

Saturday Stuff

When it is cold outside, dad has a snooze on the couch under his toasty blanket. Since it is technically my toasty blanket - all toasty blankets in the house belong to me - I thought I should take a nap too. Only mum woke me up for this photo.

Thursday on the balcony

Summer is going away, we are one month into Autumn and I am getting to spend fewer and fewer days on my balcony now. I wish it was still summer.  It's hard to referee the kids playing soccer in the street when it rains so much.

Whatever Huffle says, I am not the bad cat! No matter how many times I chase her, mum and dad will not send me to the pound! I am a good boy!  Except when I am bad.

p.s. Today is my dad's birthday!  He is eleventy billion years old.

See how I am looking down from the lime tree pot? That is because Teddy chased me (again) and I had to run away from him. You can't tell in this photo but I am growling at him.

Ever since Ruby said she would be Teddy's girlfriend, he has been strutting around this house like he is the king of the world.  I wish CC could come over and teach him a lesson!
