Huffle the Mighty Hunter

The other night I was outside playing and I caught a gecko! A gecko is a bit like a tiny lizard. The pupparazzi heard me yelling at the gecko and came out with the camera but they got a bit excited and over-exposed me in the photo. I am not sure what that means but I don't think it's a good thing. Anyway you can only see the gecko in this photo if you make it bigger and look really hard at where the arrow is pointing.

I hope you squished it so it couldn't come here and sell insurance. Geckos are annoying.

Meow Meow My Dear Huffle

That sounds like so much fun. Mama got to go outside this afternoon with her new harness and she got to eat grass but I have never been outside and I'm not sure. Maybe when you come to visit, we can walk together outside, my dear Huffle!

At first I thought you caught an imaginary gecko, but after biggifying the picture I see you are not delusional. Good job!

Did you let the him go? Ari's cat friends wouldn't have been so charitable.

By the way, Huffle, we have been asked by the Sibertarian Pawty to organize the Tubey vs. Dyson debate, and we're organizing a panel of debate moderators. Yours was the very first name we thought of! If you're interested, could you have your mom email us (kmiles@unity.edu)? Hope to hear from you soon!

Good job! I love geckos, they are my favourite prey! I have a chew, and then leave them for mum or the ants to play with, whoever comes first (or as mum says, 'I am a yucky girl who needs to learn to clean up her own mess').

Way to go Huffle - you are our hero. Cheoah caught a bird yesterday on our hike yesterday, but since it had been dead for at least a day, management says it doesn't count and made her "leave it" (our least favorite command).

That's awesome, Huffle! We don't have good lizards where I live..'course, we don't have bad ones either, like they do over at Miss Daisy's and Harley's house..Did you eat it?

We see it! We see it! Yay! Did you eat it? Did you at least separate him from his tail?

Daisy said...

I see it! I see it! Did his tail fall off? That happens sometimes.

Oh, geckos, I have to start looking for one of those, I wonder if there are any in my yard. I will save one for you for when you come to visit.

Overexposed??? I didn't think Huffle did things like THAT!!!

Mom says our car insurance will go up if you eat the Gecko. Dad lived in Hawaii for 3 years and says that geckos are good for eating bugs. He was surprised that it hadn't left you with just its' tail under your paw and ran away to grow a new one; at least that's what Hawaiian geckos do. You have to be pretty darn fast and agile to catch one though.
