Sundays with Huffle Mawson

Huffle 204

I hear a lot of pups and kitties are having really cold weather at the moment. Since it is sunny and warm here you are all welcome to come and hang out with me. Mum will lay on the Fancy Feast and I hear there is ham for Christmas.

p.s. I was snoopervising the present wrapping festival yesterday and I didn't see anything with my name on it. Should I be worried?

Uh - why would we want to go anywhere when we are having cold and snowy weather. It is PERFECT weather!

Can we come over? It is very cold here and we even had snow today. We need some hot now.
Umm, you don't think your parsley pot was your present do you? Nah, She wouldn't do that to you... would she?

Thank you for the invite! It is a bit chilly here. And don't worry - they are just hiding your presents until the Big Day.

We'll be there as soon as we have learned how to fly. In the snow and cold is not how we imagined to spend our days.
And we don't think you have to worry. The day you are forgotten is the day the entire world of catblogs will rebel.

Do you like wrappng paper? Maybe they already wrapped your presents and are saving them so you can tear into them on Chrissymouse. Better be good, just in case!

oooohhhh We can FEEL the sunshine from that photo! As for your prezzies...I'm sure they've got them hidden away safely. Maybe there are too many to fit under the tree so they had to rent a storage unit to hold them?

Yours will be tucked away somewhere safe.. I bet Christams morning you will get a surprise.. Hugs GJ xx

I'm sure they are just keeping they hidden from you Huffle! They always do that sort of stuff. They are humans. And, according to my Unkey Tubey, we all know what THAT means!

We think Santa Purrs must be bringing all you pressies. It is very cold here but no snow. We like the cold but we still wouldn't mind hanging out with you on your deck.

Hi, Huffle!
Here is cold too! I'd love to be there with you sharing your nice sunny days!
I helped my mom with the wrapping thing today and like you... I did not see my name on any of them!
But... no worries! I am sure we will get great presents!

Well, I like cold weather, but maybe I should box up Wilbur and send him your way.

Ummm, thanks a lot Huffle, you are most kind to invite us, but we like the cold, snowy weather for Christmas. In fact, we are a little jealous that some people are getting 14 inches of snow. ahhhh!, so perfect.

They are hiding your pressies, Huff, and you will get them when the time is right!

Kisses,
Stella

There had better be a present for you, or HuffleMummy will have us to answer to!

I bet your mum hid your gifts until you were outside or distracted, and THEN she wrapped them. I hope there are lots of gifts with your name on them on Christmas day!

Btw, that warm weather sounds good. We need to see if mum will buy us round trip tickets to see you!

SeaThreePeeO said...

Brrr, we would love to come over and warm up!

Don't worry about not seeing anything with your name on. We're sure Santa Paws is bringing your presents!

Okay, I think my Annie, Nicki, and Derry will pack their kitty bags and head on over to your part of the world. It's too cold for them to go out for more than a minute or two, so they're either sleeping (Derry and Annie) or getting into LOTS of trouble (Nicki). So they'd be happy to join you in the sunshine and warmth! :-)

We think we might share a boogie mat wiv Eric and Flynn (they live near us) and pop over to your place.

Re the presents: be worried, be very worried. Have they put Chrismouse wrapping round yoor parsley pot? Just askin'?

Isn't it wonderful getting the sunbeams back for summer. We missed them during our first real winter. Ronny has been helping mum wrap presents, but we don't think she sees it that way.

You've been so good, clearly Sandy Claws will be bringing your gifts.

Thanks, we're not particularly fond of cold weather. It got really cold for a week here in California, but warmed up a bit this weekend.

Huffle, you look so warm! Can you believe it is even cold in south Florida? We're getting into the 40s tonight. Brrrrr!

My Mind's Eye said...

Hi Huffle...don't be worried about the no name issue. You and I are the only kitties in our house right? Everybody knows who we are.

hey Huffle Mawson,

You are very kind to open your home to visitors, but I prefer the snow and cold (even though at the moment I have neither!). Maybe if you up the ham offering I may rethink my stance.

No worries, HM! Your humans, and Santa, will come through for you!

What a generous offer. We'd love to come and enjoy some sunshine - and ham ;-)

You shouldn't worry about the presents. Your humans probably already hid yours.

We don't think that your mom would allow you to help wrap any gifts for you. That doesn't mean that you won't be getting a present. You are loved too much not tp get something.
