Ask Huffle

My friends Cliff and Olivia asked me a question a while back. Their question: Can you get the combination for the Great White Ham Safe from the humans?

Cliff and Olivia figured that since I got my very own enormous ham just after Christmas, that I would be able to help them out with their question.

Well kitties, the key to opening the great white ham safe is the Harp Seal Look, as taught by my friend Stormy. In my experience, the best way to get the ham safe opened for you is to sit in front of it and practice your harp seal look. It works every time for me!

I find that meowing very loudly also works. My mom will let me have anything to get me to be quiet.

Rubbing against mom's leg and then casually walking over to the ham safe and meowing at it also has a high success rate.

I am but a mere person, but I tried the harp seal look and received an elegant cheesecake on Thursday.

Woo is so good, Huffle. I thinks Stormy's look is perfect. And for the kitty's, they can add that funny little bark they have---what? Oh, it's a meow...whatever. Anyway, great bloggie today!!

Yes, we all know that Stormy is the best teacher too.

Huffle, we would love to hear your meow and purr sounds - does Mum ever do a video?

Wow, Stormy's look is very effective...I have the urge to send her a ham.

Yeah, I think that's gonna do it.

Storm is the master of the look, but we always recommend howls, whines and claws.

We'd almost giving up on getting an answer. But then on Valentine's Day we see this. That's gotta mean something...

We'll try the look. Shouldn't be too hard. Some other good advice in the comments too!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Oh, and a follow-up question: How do you get the humans to forget that they've given you food earlier in the day? We try demanding food, loudly - but it seldom works.
