Angus, this is probably the hardest question I've been asked so far! There are a lot of elements to being an honorary husky, one of which is definitely having a husky for a best friend, so you can learn from them. As you know, my best friend Zim of the Army of Four is a husky and I learn a lot from him. I also learn heaps from his sister Stormy, Supreme Commander of the Ao4. For example, she taught me how not to pose for photos. That's a very important husky trait.
But to quote my award, an Honorary Husky is for someone who has been helpful or supportive to the husky cause. And that's the biggest thing you can do to become an honorary husky. I can also suggest trying to become a member of HULA. There are a lot of requirements for that:
- Demonstrating disruptive behavior
- Cause your human to freak out for no real reason
- Cause human guilt for no reason, other to get attention or treats
- Destroy something
- Human behavior modification
- Being dressed up as something for the humor of the humans
- Love of kleenex
I hope that helps, Angus.

Hehehe, we are good at this one.
"Destroy something"
Well said.
You are the perfect poster-cat for the Honorary Huskies
Princess Eva
It also is a requirement to know and appreciate the Tube Wolf to be an Honorary Husky.
You're every BIT the husky I am! Ha roooo!
Hey.... is there any way a guy can become an honorary cat? Seriously. I can act aloof if I feel like it, can be affectionate if I feel like it, only come when I'm called if I feel like it, and I'm known to walk like the Pink Panther. Then there's the laying in the sun thing.... I've got lots of catributes - let me know if I can apply!
Play bows,
Zim

All dozen Bumpass Hounds and Kitties are thoroughly qualified to be recepients of this award.
- The Bumpass hounds
That would be quite an honor to be given that especially for a kittie. =)
Woo. .I'm learning more all of the time. I'm with Zim--I want to be an honorary kitty cat. I do a really good kitty cat stretch every time that I wake up from my naps. I'll post a picture so that you can see it.

I think I tuned in here tonight to find the answer to yesterdays big mystery "Where is Huffle". So where was you?
I still say jail, and you busted out, probably *with* the can of Norwegian sardines.
Kisses,
Stella
Huffle, woo is sooooooooo smart! Being a husky, honorary or not, is the best! Woo described our lifestyle perfectly! Like Zim said, I would like to find out about being a kitty...any tips?
Mya Boo Boo
Excellent info Huffle, plus you are just so Husky-like.
That is good information, although I won't be trying it out anytime soon. As you know furry beasts are my arch enemies, so I don't want to be an honorary one. I still like you though.
Meow,
Wilbur
And your name has to be Huffle Mawson.
Woo did a great job answering that question.
How did woo get so smart?
Tail wags, the OP Pack
You make a great "honorary Husky," Huffle. You are good wif words, too!
da boyz, Cosmos & Juneau-
Well, that is your first step to becomeing one of the "great" breeds, but you have so much more to learn to be an honorary Malamute!! You are doing very well though!
Holly
Well we meet most of those requirements...we won't, however, be dressed up....
We are learning a lot from you, Huffle!
Wow! You're very talented and do lots of hard work to be a HH, Huffle. I'm just glad you didn't say we had to "Woo!", cause I don't have the parts for that.My "snooter" isn't long enough. I'd like to be a HH someday!
Huffle, we are so proud to claim you as a member of the husky club. You do the breed proud!
