Parsley Pot update

I was sitting in my parsley pot the other day, minding my own business, when the pupparazzi stopped by to take my photo.

So I let them take one, and then I was out of there.

A new friend

Everyone, I would like to introduce you to my new friend Donut the Scottish Fold kitty. He is quite adorable. He's been blogging for a few weeks now and hasn't had many visitors so if you could go and say hello to him that would be good.Seriously. How can you resist that face?

Saturday on the fence

I was just Huffling around the other day when those evil birds started laughing at me. So I decided to get them!

Huffle 201

Sadly, they flew away from me.

Huffle 202

So I was going to sit there and wait til they came back. But they didn't and mum made me get down off the fence.

Friday night at the movies

Every night at 10.30pm, I have to remind mum and dad to go to bed. I have a very strict routine and I expect them to follow it.

First, I tell dad it's time for bed. Then I stand on the cord for his mouse and his headphones on his computer, so they pull away from him. This encourages him to turn his computer off. Then I go and sit next to the coffee table, waiting to play the red dot game. I play this until I get tired and throw myself down on the ground. Then we must go upstairs, and that's where the excitement really begins.

My bestest friend Zimmie sent me Mr Mouse a while back. For a while he was my bodyguard but he didn't do a very good job so I changed his job description to "bedtime mouse". The following movie demonstrates what happens every single night at bed time.

Thursday on the balcony

Huffle Balcony 17

After the trauma of Saturday night I didn't know if I would ever be able to face going out on the balcony again, but I couldn't resist. A cat has to snoozervise, you know.

Award!

My very cool friends the Kool Kittie Krew gave me an award last week! It's the Kreativ Blogger award and I have to list seven things that you may not know about me.

kreativbloggeraward

I have been blogging for a while now so there may not be too many things you don't already know about me, but I will give it a go. If this is old news to you, I'm sorry.
  1. I like to get in the shower and get my paws and tail all wet, then walk all over dad when he's in bed. This is best done in the morning when mum gets out of the shower but dad hasn't gotten out of bed yet.
  2. I was adopted.
  3. I spent three months in the shelter before mum and dad adopted me. They don't know anything about my former life and I don't want to talk about it because it wasn't good.
  4. I do not really like fish very much. Although I LOVED the salmon treats that Addie and Lucie sent me a while back. Shame we can't get them in Australia.
  5. I hate having my photo taken and often move at the very last second when mum is about to take my photo. She takes about 35 bad photos for every good photo. Ha!
  6. My favourite place to sleep in the bed is under the doona between mum and dad. I can be all toasty and comfy.
  7. I like to scoop chocolates out of the bowl on the table and play with them. This annoys mum A LOT.
So that's my seven things. I hope you learned something new. I am supposed to share this with some others so here we go:

I am never speaking to mum again

Pups and kitties, you will not believe what mum did to me on the weekend. I am still annoyed about and I don't know if I can forgive her for this.

Saturday night, she and dad were going out for dinner to celebrate her birthday. The balcony door was open and mum shut it and they left the house, got in the car and drove away. But what mum didn't know what that I was out on the balcony! I got locked out there!

I couldn't believe it. I meowed, I cried, I sat and contemplated what to do next. I couldn't go up, I couldn't go down, I was STUCK. Lucky it wasn't raining.

Eventually about three hours later mum and dad came home and I yelled at them from the balcony (which is right above the front door) and they freaked out and opened the front door and dad bolted up the stairs to let me back in. I was very unhappy and I told him so.

Then I came downstairs but I wouldn't talk to mum even though she tried to apologise to me. I don't know if I'll ever get over this.

How should I punish her?

p.s. even though I am not speaking to mum right now, she wants to thank everyone for the birthday wishes.

Saturday learnings

Huffle 203

Good morning and welcome to my class room. Today I am going to talk about the Huffle Dictionary.

I have invented some very important new words lately and I think we need to write them down and keep track of them. I'm even going to add a special page to my blog up there so we can keep adding words as we come across them.

Here are the first couple.

Snoozervising: (verb) this is a combination of snoopervising and snoozing. It has a high degree of difficulty and is not for the faint hearted.

Huffle: (verb) to walk off in a fit of temper, to walk off in a huffle.

If you think of any more good words to add to my dictionary please let me know.

Happy birthday Mum!

Today is my mum's birthday so I thought I'd be nice and do a proper pose for a photo for her.

Huffle128

I hope she appreciates it since I forgot to tell dad to get me a present for mum.

Happy birthday mum! Can we have some ham to celebrate?

Thursday on the balcony

This is a multi purpose pose. I am doing my stretches AND holding up the wall (because I am an honorary husky and therefore a working breed).

It's a tough job but somecat's gotta do it.

Tricked

I was running up the stairs and mum said "Huffle, Huffle!" and I turned around because I thought she maybe had some ham or some roast chicken for me.

But she didn't.
