Today at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, Australia commemorates the sacrifices of members of the armed forces and of civilians in times of war, specifically since the First World War. People wear poppies to remember the day. Since my grandpa fought in the Vietnam War, Remembrance Day has to be remembered.
So speaking of remembering, about a million years ago Khyra gave me this cool award. Thanks Khyra!

nestHeya Huffle,
Congratulation on the most deserved award.
We have Veteran's Day here in stead of Remembrance Day. Our Dad says that it used be called Armistice Day. He says everyone used to wear Red Poppies they bought from Veteran's organizations but that has fallen out of fashion over the last decade. Dad was in the US Navy for 20 years, a aircraft carrier jet pilot (Perth WA was his favorite port of call). He had us watch a Rememberance Day video from Canada that he watches every year.
