International Stick Like Glue to Mum Day

If your parents ever go away and leave you alone for FOUR whole weeks, you must make them pay by acting really pathetic and getting lots of sympathy.

Since mum and dad got home on Friday, I have been staying very close to mum. Everywhere she goes I follow her. If she sits down, I want to sit on her lap. If she's in the kitchen, I am under her feet. If she's looking in the fridge, I am sitting next to the door looking sad (and hoping to get ham). If mum goes into the bathroom, I try and follow. When she's in bed, I am right there next to her.

So far it's working well. I am getting lots of pats and dad feels really sorry for me so he is being nice and letting me outside then inside then outside then inside and giving me some roast chicken from last night's dinner. They probably won't leave me alone like that again.

Well played! They're probably glad you even remember who they are after being gone so long. Take full advantage of it for as long as you can.

Great work. Now slip in a slight limp or perhaps a big hunk of fur someplace for ultimate sympathy and bribery.

Ah, Huffle! To live in such congenial circumstance is my dream! Alas, I find myself in dire straits, what with abandonment sans presents-and such good presents you've received, too! And HAM!

We think you have all of the right moves to keep your parents feeling sorry for you. Keep it up. They need to pay for ignoring you and leaving you home alone!

Guilt goes a long way towards treats. So they don't even suspect woo've been off on your own adventures, eh?

I am sooo glad your folks are back home!!! Maybe you should make yourself a velcro suit and put a patch on your moms chest and have her lug you around. It is only fair.

Hey Huffle,
You sure are one clever hombre. Really rub it in and make them feel terrible for abandoning you like that; hope they never find out about your adventure or this may backfire on you. Ham should be flowing for weeks to come. Hee, hee, hee, hee. You are one slick dudette.
