A word about ham

I know that all of you know how much I love ham. I would like to explain something about my addiction to ham though. Mum is very careful about how much she feeds me, as foods that are high in fat content, like ham (even though mum buys the really good stuff that doesn't have a lot of fat), are not always good for kitties and pups. My BFF Tia had pancreatitis and is not allowed to eat ham or other foods that are high in fact any more. A little while back I even gave up ham out of solidarity with Tia.

So even though I talk about ham a lot, I don't really get as much to eat as I would like.

This has been a Huffle Mawson community service announcement.

In honour of my friend Fin's birthday, we are playing a new game where you post baby pictures of yourself. Now I don't have any of those because I arrived here when I was already five years old, so I am going to show you a baby picture of my Uncle Buckley. This is from his first day at home with my grandpa. He is three months old in this picture. Wasn't he adorable?

Saturday sleepiness

It's been a busy week in Huffleland, what with Grandpa being in hospital and all. The good news is he will be going home on Monday and should make a complete recovery! Mum is very happy and so is Grandma. Thankyou everyone for your kind thoughts. They definitely helped!

I want to show you a picture of Salvador the poo-face. Here he is hogging dad's lap.

Doesn't he know that's MY dad and MY lap? Only I'm allowed to sit on dad's lap and look pathetic like that. Although, he does look kind of dorky so we can all laugh at him.

It's pretty cold outside today so I am going to spend all day in my Huffle bed and relax. Mum had coffee in bed this morning but I didn't go and share it (sorry Zim) because I was busy napping in my own bed.

Grandpa health update

Some of you might not know that my grandpa (mum's dad) has been in hospital lately. That's like the V-E-T for humans. He had a tumour on his pit-woo-itary gland and had to have it removed. He is recovering from his operation well and the doctor and surgeon said he should be fine - they are very sure that the tumour is be-nine (I thought there was only one?) and mum says that is a good thing.

My grandpa is the only one who is allowed to rub my belly so he better get well soon! Nobody knows why I let him rub my belly - I don't even let mum or dad do it - and I'm not telling!
