Some of you mentioned a little while back that you would like to know what sort of new flashy beast is tormenting me. Here it is:
A Nikon D300S, and she has FIVE lenses for it, one of which is just as big as I am!
I think I'm starting to get a headache just thinking about this flashy beast.

Thanks Huffle you must have read our minds...or maybe we were one of the many who asked. Mom is in the market for a new flashy beast. She is by no means a professional photographer but she thinks it might be time to at least step up to the next level. Ours is 6 years old.

My human is in love with your camera! She has a Nikon D60 (with 2 lenses) and a Sony DSC-HX1, which are fine for anything she wants to do, but she likes yours better! Photographers!!
I'm grateful our mom's flashy tormenter is simpler. She'd go nuts ALL the time with one like that!

Mom loves your camera and is enjoying her D5000. There is lots to learn.She loves SLRs because they are faster than P&S. However, we are often faster and that drives her crazy!! hahahahaha

Whoa! That's a camera! I have a camera that looks like a gray brick and it's so old, I need to change it!
It certainly lives up to it's name, flashy beast! My human bean would love one of those some day. But she's not sure how much she would like porting around a big camera with a couple lenses, while she could use a simpy little camera like the one we already have. Uh. My human bean could talk all day bout cameras.
Well, that first picture is just beautiful, Huffle. So the new flashy beast works well. But the second picture is great too - don't tell us she has two of those fancy flashy beasts! Hope you are having a great weekend, we are having a very wet night.

Oh you poor dear! Mine just chases me with an eensy Nikon Coolpix and she can barely use that one right. But I guess that's why your Mom takes WAY better pictures, MOL!
