Not to laugh at your expense, but those pupparazzi are funny! What a great "sneak attack" ploy! Perhaps you should rely on your nose for the smell of prawn or ham rather than believe the voices of those tricky pupparazzi! At least they get some great snapshots of you!
Ignore them. Don't turn, don't look, & eventually they'll feel bad about trying to trick woo & give woo the real treat. It's a time-tested Siberian technique.

I think the staff should only say those words if they have some ham or prawns for you! Otherwise it is just mean.
