I hope everypup and kitty had a lovely easter yesterday. We didn't do much in my house - mum and dad went to lunch at grandma's but they didn't bring any snacks home for me so I'm pretending it never happened.
This is Alex. He is the alligator I won in Steve, Kat and Wilbur's Day of Blogs last year.
He has spent the last eight months watching over my purple Huffle bed and doing a very good job so I am considering him for the job of my bodyguard. Do you think he has what it takes?
I think he looks pretty scary close up. Something about those beady eyes. Alex is medium sized, a little bit smaller than I am. He runs close to the ground.
For the next few days I will be featuring potential candidates for this position. There will be a poll on my blog on Thursday so please make sure you come back and vote.

happee (belated) easter to u an yerz huffle.
alex iz verree scary lookin.
he wood make a grate bodygard.
luv--jh
He might be a good body guard. We'll have to see who the other candidates are before we decide. he looks like he would be comfy to cuddle against.
I have to say I am not so sure. I can't see his teeth. He may be a good protector of your lair, but in a scuffle with some fierce combatants, I am not so sure who would be protecting who, for you have mighty incisors.
Let's see # 2.
Ozzie
We'z not to sure, he really doesn't look dat scary. It's still Easter here so HAPPY EASTER! We got HAM!
He looks like a good bodyguard candidate. But lets see the others before taking a decision, ok?
Kisses and hugs

I don't know, Huffle. He seems to be steady and competent, but I think I need to see the other candidates.
See ya!

Did you fire Mr Mouse? I'd like to see all my options first.
Alex is interesting! He looks strong! With kind of funny eyes!
I think he may be all bark (or whatever sound gators make) and no bite.
Princess Eva
Huffle, does he have a squeaker? That would be the only way I could accept him as a bodyguard. Without a squeaker how would he let you know something is wrong???
Kisses,
Stella
He is cute ... maybe he is too cute for a bodyguard as he wudn't scare the baddies away!
Alex looks like he has great bodyguard potential. Is your mousie just not working out?
I like him a lot, but not scary. He is just cuddly.
Hugs GJ xx
We kinda like Alex....but is he tough enough for the job???
He's got a lot of potential, Huffs! It's the eyes.... yeah... he's got potential!
Play bows,
Zim
Hmm, usually the gators we've seen have lots of toofies sticking out of their mouths. Is he hiding his? We think your body guard would need toofies or claws to defend woo.

hey Huffle Mawson,
Happy Easter to you! (I know, a day late...sorry!) I like Mr. Alligator and he has a cool look about him. But be careful - when alligators open their jaws they can fit an entire Huffle Mawson in their mouths! So in that sense he would be a great bodyguard!
Can't wait to see the other candidates!
Suka
Well, he'll ly be better than Mr. Mouse. Heck, Alex could be dead and stuffed and he'd be better than Mr. Mouse. We will objectively evaluate all candidates for the position.
- TBH
That's a pretty cool 'gator!
Oz here: kind of scary, but his eyes remind me of Mr. Stick - (A Life with Dogs blog thing) - Alligator could be your man compared to the other two!
Whisker tips,
Ozzie
If we could see his big white teeth, we might think he was scarier looking. We want to see what other candidates you have to offer.
Woos, the OP Pack
Hmmm, word verification is "aussi".
Well, since I have had personal experience with Alex, I think he could be a good candidate. Since he's close to the ground, he can watch out for bugs for you. And those beady eyes probably send out lasers to dismantle flashy beasts.

Wilbur
Hmmmm, I don't know about Alex for this position, Huffle. To be your bodyguard, shouldn't he be BIGGER than you?
