An observation

Did you know that if a man comes and pulls out a piece of wood from somewhere inside the house, then goes to a shop and buys another piece of wood and then cuts that new piece of wood with a saw to be the same size and shape as the old piece of wood, that this cutting creates something called sawdust and you can roll in it and make pretty patterns! And, you can even decorate your furs with it!For some reason, your mum will not think this is a good thing. I don't know why.

sawdust is like itchy snow to me. BOL. Hope you made great designs.

would it have something to do with having to lint-roll and brush black cats to get the sawdust out of their fur?

(then again, my little edda is a feline lint-attractor. everything shows up on black.)

J.E.B. would love to go out to the workshop garage and do his snow angels there cuz the sawdust is measured by inches (centimeters to you I guess) just like the snow (if it ever comes again). We bet everythink shows up on you though. It would be cool if you got wet and rolled in white sand.

The bigger question is who caused the damage to require the piece of wood to be replaced. That is always the question around here.

And, after you play in it, it is hard fur R humes to clean all of it up! They aren't thrilled wif that!

I don't know why your Mom wouldn't like you rolling in sawdust. It is a neutral color and goes furry nicely with BLACK!

Sawdust huh? Sounds like versatile stuff. Happy long weekend, Huffle!

The humans get a bee in their bonnet about everything. "Suey, stop rolling in the cut grass", "Suey, stop splashing in the mud", "Suey, stop playing with that lizard"... honestly!

Mums are clueless about feline fashion sometimes. I think a coat fulla sawdust is beautiful, Gerry prefers twigs, old leaves and dead slugs with a liberal scattering of seeds - sawdust is haute couture!

What on earth was your dad doing? Whenever my dad has made sawdust, he does it in the garage, so I haven't tried rolling around in it. However, back in the Texas house, when Mom and Dad replaced the flooring, I ran around on the plastic stuff they put down first. See my January 13, 2007 post if you want to see me. (Note, do not let your mom poke around in the other January 2007 posts because she will see Steve and Kat looking unbearable cute as tiny puppies. You don't want that.)

Wilbur

PS. I like your new blog header picture.

What an exciting discovery!

We still have debris from our construction here. More plaster dust than sawdust at the moment. And probably not as much fun.
