My dear friend Gotchi, who lives in Portugal, gave me this award last week. Thanks Gotchi! And just this week, my friends Spider and Smudge gave it to me too! Thanks kitties (and thanks to your mum too)!
The rules are simple. You have to list 10 things that make you happy, and share the award with 10 blogs that make you smile. I'm pretty sure that 10 blogs that make me smile also qualify as 10 things that make me happy, so I'm just doing one list.
If you don't know any of the pups and kitties I've mentioned above, go say hello and make some new friends!

Saturday Shenanigans
For the last time, I was not eating the plants! This is the path I take when I am on patrol in the back yard. I can't help it if the plants get in my way and I have to move them.
Seriously.

My whisker
Does anyone know how long a cat whisker lives for? Mum and dad think I have had my whisker for nearly a whole year now. They are expecting it to fall out but it just stays there.
Maybe I should tell them I used some peroxide on the next whisker when the original white one fell out...

Thursday on the balcony

I really like to sit out on the balcony. It gets all the afternoon sun so it's nice and toasty. And you can snoozervise the street. I still haven't seen any cats or dogs at the new neighbour's house, so I'm pretty sure they don't have any. I think I'm the only cat that lives in my street.
Although, one night when mum and dad left the door open for me late, I saw two cats chasing each other down our streeet! That was pretty exciting. I haven't seen them since, though.

Bugs
I just don't understand why no-one else can see the bugs! There are hundreds, thousands, MILLIONS of them in there and I have to get them! I have to protect the garden!

Sunday Awards
I got this award last weekend from my very good friend Noll. He is one cool cat.
Of course there are rules associated with this thing. I ignored them last time and I'm going to ignore them again today. But I would like to share this award with some friends.
Toby and Leia over at The Whiskeratti
Remington the Newfie
Byron the sweet boy
Diamond, my neighbour over in Adelaide
Thanks again Noll!

Routine
People say that they are comfortable with routines. I have a routine too. It's the "time to go to bed" routine and it happens every single night in our house.
10.15pm: I tell dad it's time to start packing up for bed. He ignores me for 10 minutes.
10.30pm: I run to the coffee table and sit and wait for the red dot to make its appearance.
10.35 - 10.40pm: I attack the red dot until I am tired and fall over.
10.40pm: Dad picks me up, I protest, and he carries me up the stairs.
10.40 and 10 seconds pm: Dad puts me down at the top of the stairs, I pause, he tickles my pantaloons, I yell at him and run into the bedroom and jump on the bed.
10.40 and 20 seconds pm: Mum throws Mr Mouse on the bed and I play with him
10.43pm: I go in the bathroom and get in the shower to get my paws and tail wet, so I can stomp all over dad and get him wet. (note: this step is optional)
10.45pm: Everyone gets into bed, I jump on dad, then walk up and down him, then sit and wait for the doona to get smoothed between mum and dad, so I can lie down comfortably.
10.50pm: Start purring and everyone goes to sleep happy.

MY garden
I was out in the garden minding my own business when some more of those evil birds arrived to annoy me.
The tree they sit in is not very wide and I don't think I can climb it to get to them. I'll have to wait here for them.

Mango Minster 2010
I have entered Mango Minster this year! I am in the Cat Dog category. It's very exciting. I am a little bit worried though; Khyra is judging my category and she is a little obsessed with cats. And not in a good way. I hope you'll check out the competition - it runs all this week - and maybe vote for me in the people's choice awards? Or at least vote for some pup or kitty. The Cat Dog category ends on January 31st so please go vote!
