Ask Huffle

Prancer Pie asked me this question: As the cat with the most seniority, Miss Huffle, what is your most important job in the household?

That is a very good question.  I have several jobs in the house.  One of them is to make sure dad realises it's dinner time when he comes home from work, no matter what time it is.  So I greet him at the door every day and remind him.

It is also my job to quality test all the ham that gets brought into the house.  Same with the prawns.  Here's a photo of me doing quality control on prawns.

And most importantly, it is my job to make sure all the places a cat could sleep are appropriate for a cat to sleep in. Mostly this involves me sleeping in my toasty bed, or on mum and dad's bed, or on the spare bed, or anywhere else that takes my fancy.

Huffle, that is one awesome prawn. I have little doubt that it is way better than ham. Though Mom tells me she saw some shrimp with heads on in Florida, they were not at big as that prawn. "Shrimp" here, no matter how big, cannot compete with an Australian prawn. They are "shrimpy" by comparison. And bought mostly without heads.

Huffle, you have some back-breaking chores, but OMC, the REWARDS!!!!
Did you eat the entire prawn, head, eyes, and all? How delicious is THAT?
(Mommy is going "ewwwwww". She's a Philistine.)

Does this mean that a Huffle Cat is a working breed? It sounds like you have a lot on your plate. And ... woo ... speaking of plates ... Mom wants to know if she can come over for dinner.

Dave
