This does not look like the face of a monster does it? But he is. Teddy cannot help himself and jumps on me All The Time. The other day, he jumped on me and then bit my ear! Mum yelled at him real loud for that. And he spent two hours in the garage.

Maybe Teddy needs to play more with cat toys. Try a cat-dancer. That will use up lots of his energy. Most pet stores carry them.

Kittens have far too much energy, especially from an older-cat's perspective. Gracie, now at 19 months, is just now taking nice long afternoon naps like the boys. All is quiet once mid-morning passes... until they ring the dinner bell at 5pm! And then there's the nice, long night nap, until they ring the breakfast bell and we start all over again.

My brother Figaro does that too...he's a big young mancat and I think that's just what they do. I'm lucky that he has a best mancat pal who lives next door so he gets to do young mancat things with him so he jumps on us less now. Figgy will be 2 in August.
Huffle, maybe I need to transport over and give you a few lessons at handling unruly young boys. You have to develop the best combo of hissing, claws and whaps in the business to deal with them!

My mom got me (the old girl kitty) a kitten. She's a girl but she was always jumping on me and biting my neck. I'm small and of gentle demanor while she's like 9 pounds! FINALLY, mom got HER a kitten, a boy about a year younger, and now they chase and rumble to their hearts' content. And I...I sleep in peace. Could that work in your house?
