Wordy Wednesday

When it's coming up to winter, the best thing to do is stay in your toasty bed and catch some sun.  Like this.

Huffle 708

Mum and dad say we will be moving at the end of July. I am not at all looking forward to it; I don't like change one bit. And to make matters worse, they say that Teddy and I will be going to stay at our grandparent's house while the move happens. That's like TWO moves! I might have to stage a protest or run away.

We will be heartbroken if you run away Huffle!!! Try to persevere :-)

Yikes! Sounds like a big, but unwanted adventure, Huffle. Let's hope you like your new home better than your current one, in the long run! Hey, maybe there will be a Teddy-free hiding spot for you!

We wish it would be winter here again. We hate the hots. But we do not want to move in July. That stinks. Unless your new house is super cool, then it might be worth it.

You always are welcome here at our place, Huffle! Oooh, and you could bring Teddy and we could introduce him to the Bully Cat. Umm... I mean to Maude.

I see somebody has just beaten us to the punch. We were going to suggest, Huffle, that you come on over here -- and then we would just not tell the Beans that the deal is, you would stay with us. Like, forever. And that would (1) get you away from the appliance-fetishist and (2) Cut one move out of the picture. Plus, we don't live too far from OKcats. So we could do group sleep-overs. What say? It's summer over here -- if the tornados don't get us --

Huffle I think that is so considerate of your Mom and Dad to keep you safe and sound away from all of the commotion! Just think, when you make the (2nd) move everything will be all set up and ready to go for you!
All will be fine! Think "pawsitive!!"

I hope your moving all works out for the best. Meantime, keep warm! Though it is hot here now, I sure do remember the cold cold cold from our last winter!

Oh, Huffle you are right, moving is not fun, but don't run away! Think how sad your family would be! The new house could turn out to be great.

Huffle, if you run away, Teddy might take over your blog!

(Heh. That should be enough to keep her here.)

Poor Huffle! We hope it's not going to be too stressful for you. Maybe you can Pack Teddy????

Absolutely protest, but no running away!

Maybe your grandfolks have a nice sunny spot for you to put that comfy bed so the first move won't be so bad. Just don't run away, OK?

You look so nice and toasty!

I hope the move(s) go well. Moving is stressful for humans and kitties alike, so try not to take it out on your poor parents too much.

Wow, Huffle! Lots of changes coming your way. Well, at least you have your warm bed and some sun now. Think about all that other stuff later.

Oh dear Cod, Huffle! DON'T run off! There are MUCH more effective ways to punish your pawrents. You have plenty of time to plan.

Huffle!
Sounds like you are going to have an interesting time with the moves!
I hope everything will be ok!

Moving can be a good thing! We moved 3 years ago, and even though this place is smaller, it is cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter, and we are up above the trees (on the 16th floor). You will be exploring lots of new spaces, remember. And finding new adventures in your new home.
The only thing I miss is my friend, Mr. Squirrel.

Don't worry! Just think of it as an adventure! You will get to smell and explore all the high places in not one but two places!

hey Huffle Mawson,

Please don't run away! You are such a great kitty friend, I would really miss you! And Teddy, although I am still getting to know the little guy.

Moving is fun! It is an adventure! New sights, new smells, new territories to explore. You are an Explorer Cat, you should be totally looking forward to the adventure. I know you will miss the security and comfort of your current home, but it will be fun to make your new home secure and comfortable.

You look so cozy comfy in the sun!

Huffle! You have to look at this like an adventure and embrace the change! There will be soooo much to explore. It will be right up your alley! I just know it. Hang in there girl!

So, does the move mean that you will be able to get a dog? Think how much fun that would be! Maybe the dog could terrorize Teddy like Teddy terrorizes you! Think paybacks!

It'll be ok, Huff, think "adventure" not "change!".
So, where's ya movin' to?

Andy, Kiefer and Gus said...

Huffle - you get to visit your granddaddy and grandma. How exciting! We've heard that grandparents spoil the grandkids with lots of toys and treats even more than our own parent humans and let us eat anything we want. Enjoy the spoilation.....

Don't worry about moving. I'm sure they will give you several days of uninterrupted sniffing and investigations and will bring your stuff that smells good to soften the stink of a new house.

Moving? what about the balcony? what about Teddy? Will he have his own room?
What id Teddy stays behind in the old place? I quess he would need a job to pay the rent.

The Crew said...

No, Huffle...don't run away! I did it and everyone was so worried about me. I'm glad I'm back home.

Oh poor Huffle! (And a little dramatic...) Change can be a good thing. You just have to be sure they take your ideas and needs into consideration for any move. You want comfy high places to survey your new place, refuse to eat for a day unless they give you your favorite food. That always makes them feel sorry for you.
