I am sitting just inside the door to my balcony, which opens off mum and dad's bedroom.
See the red rug behind me? I do Not Like red things, and I refuse to sit or walk on that red rug. Mum bought it because it matches my red chair, but I don't sit on the red chair either because I do Not Like red things.

Huffle, we wonder what about "red" bothers you so, since it's one of the colours that is "supposed" to fall outside of a cat's abiliity to distinguish. Maybe the humans who have studied this ought to have asked YOU!
We hope she reads this and figures it out soon.
Huffle, CC says he will never send you red flowers! In fact, he says he'll only send you Cat Grass to be safe. Say...you could yak up the grass on the red rug! We bet it would stain nicely.
Huffle, I can tell by the expression on your face that you do not like that red rug!
Phantom doesn't like red either. One of the only time he barks is when someone comes to the house with a red shirt or red hat on. Mom always puts a red collar on him because she thinks red looks great against black. Maybe that is what your Mum is thinking too.

When I first came to live with Mom, I would only walk on hard surfaces, not carpet or rugs. I got over that pretty quickly though because I couldn't leave the bathroom without walking on carpet!

My husband and I were just commenting today that of all the mice our Cody plays with (and he has MANY!) He only plays with the two RED ones!

You would hate it here, Huffle! One of my human's favorite colors is red, so we have lots of it here, including the couch.

Those Humans need to respect your taste in furniture and such, but I do have to point out how stunning your black furz look against that little red rug.
Maybe that red rug needs to meet up with a bottle of blue dye or something. (cause we all love purple!)

We have lots of purple here. No red. Come on over!!
Well, DUH. This red thing is no real surprise. Maybe it's like a bullfighter thing except for cats. Cats are finicky after all. Alex doesn't like vegetables, Boru only eats stuff that he can get into his mouth, Jenny won't eat anything but dry cat food, and Gracie will only beat up Jenny and she won't meow (she squeaks). Cats are peculiar and finicky.
