Please don't forget me

Today is the day that mum and dad leave on their big holiday. Uncle Heath will be here soon to stay with me, so hopefully we'll have a good time together. If it's no fun with Uncle Heath I will go and stay with my bestest friend Zimmie.

He doesn't know how to blog so I have convinced mum to schedule some Wordless Wednesday posts for me. I won't be able to comment on your blogs but I'll be visiting when I can!

A Friday Flashback

This is not a flashback to a previous post, but a reminder of how my wonderful parsley pots USED to look. Now the grass is all dead and looks more like hay.

Dad promises to plant some new cat grass for me after the holiday. He better remember to do it!

Thursday action

This is a picture of me playing with my Sardinie, sent to me by the very wonderful Mrs Shelli (mum to my BFF Tia and her sisters Sitka and Cornelia Marie).

I love to play with Sardinie, he is my favourite toy and if he gets lost under the couch or TV cabinet I sit and look sad until dad rescues him for me.

I have no idea

Mum says she has no idea where this photo came from, who took it, how it got on the iMac, nothing.

She didn't take it with her giant pupparazzi camera, so it must have come from the iPhone.

I worry about her memory sometimes. What if she forgets to buy me Fancy Feast???

Can't a cat have any privacy?

It's a bit embarrassing when a cat can't even walk out of the bathroom in peace!

It's the baby boy polar bears at SeaWorld in Queensland. Mum and dad went up there about four years ago to see the polar bears and managed to get this cute photo of them playfighting. About two seconds after this photo was taken, one polar bear fell into the swimming pool and the other jumped in after him. Mum and dad said it was very funny to watch.

Considering my options

Thanks everycat and everydog for your support over me being ABANDONED for a month in April. I have considered what you all said and I think that maybe I might ditch Uncle Heath and go and stay with my best friend Zimmie for the month. Here is what he offered:

Huffle! This is horrid! You must come stay with us! You can have both of the guest rooms and private bath upstairs - at the end of the catwalk. How appropriate is that?!!? You can hang out with us, do some snoozervising, balconize with us out on the deck, take cat naps, all kinds of cool stuff!

Bugs bugs and more bugs

Why yes, there are lots of bugs on this plant. Thank you for asking. I am just checking to make sure they're not eating my plants. Because I'm the only one who is allowed to do that.

Recovery

I think that elite sportspeople get to spend Monday recovering from their big games on the weekend. I had a big weekend with all my grandparents visiting me on Saturday. As I mentioned yesterday, no grandparent brought me a present which is totally unacceptable. I will be having mum issue them with notices about not visiting again unless they bring me presents. That should work, right?



This recovery could take some time.

Sundays with Huffle Mawson

Dad says he can see another one of my whiskers slowly turning white. So from now on, I am only going to be photographed from the left, so nocat and nodog can see it.

My grandparents - both sets! - were here last night. I would like to say that no grandparent bought Huffle a present.

Hmpf.

Disaster of EPIC proportions

I have just found out that in two weeks, my mum and dad are going away on holidays and leaving me alone for ONE WHOLE MONTH! How can they do this to me?

Oh sure, Uncle Heath is coming to stay with me and look after me while they're gone, but he doesn't know how to help me blog. What if he forgets to buy me ham? Does he know about the red dot game? Will he remember the bedtime routine?

And I hope mum and dad have told him the rules of this house!

Rule #1: Huffle is in charge.

This is terrible. What am I going to do?

Finally Friday

When it's been raining like it has the past few days, you have to take advantage of every little bit of sun that you can. So when the sun came out yesterday for a bit I rushed outside to my deck to soak up some rays. I hope the weekend is sunny! I'm beginning to feel waterlogged.

Thursday on the balcony

Does it look like I'm in jail? I'm not really; I'm just sitting out on my balcony looking at the neighbours. No-one has waved to me yet.

Monday Musings

It has been pouring with rain for DAYS now and I am so bored! I have to take a lot of naps to get over the boredom.

Napping helps. Really.
