During Tweet Week I posted a picture of me with my Mouseduck, and some of you were wondering if it was a new breed of mouse (or duck).
The story goes like this. Mum was out shopping one day (she can't remember where exactly but thinks maybe she was in Ikea) and saw a whole wall of cat toys. So of course she went to have a look for me (I have her well trained).
This duck was there in the cat toy section, but it was labelled as a mouse. So mum had to get it for me. There was also a fish labelled as a mouse, so she got me that one too. She thought it was funny. Mum is weird sometimes.

I knew we had something in common- we both CHASE something!!!...you chase mice, I chase CatS!!!...That gives me an idea...I think I must ask my Mom to get me a CAT toy.

Our question is whether the mouseduck and mousefish taste the same as a regular mouse?
Our mum loves funny labels and names. Last night, she and dad had Batard bread with dinner. She got it because she misread the label.
Swedish kittehs must get very confused.

That is very strange. Mumma once found a labeling mistake at the pet food shop and it made her very cross. That's right she didn't find it funny at all! Something about the label of my kibbles saying $73.95 when it was really $110.95. She takes things so seriously sometimes :S

Ha, we just discovered that the word 'mouse' comes from the cat language. We call it "moaws".

We'd love to see your IKEA toys. Mewmie brings us funny toys from there too, like an orange octopus and our favorite blue shark!
I don't think it is weird, I would do the same thing.
I will have to see if they have toys like that at our Ikea (it is 5 minutes from my house) - we got our kitty tent there but I don't remember seeing toys. If it was there then I am not surprised it was labeled weird - Ikea is Swedish, and we have a Swede visiting us this week (boyfriends cousin), and he is weird, so I am basing this weirdness assumption on him.
