Um, if you chew on mum's shoes like this, you will get in Very Big Trouble.
Sorry mummy.

Saturday Chatter
You will all be pleased to know that with my encouragement and snoopervision, dad has finally finished stripping the wall behind me.
Now all he has to do is the top of the bench seat and he is finished! Then the deck has to be oiled (who knew there was so much work to do for one little deck?) and FINALLY I can get my new chair that was promised to me eleventy weeks ago.

Sunday Stuff
Um, dad, the water in this bowl does not taste the best.
What do you mean, it's not my water bowl? All bowls are my water bowl.

Annual Review Time!
Yes, it's that time of the year again, when I review my mum's performance in helping me blog. Why do I get the feeling she is not going to get a raise this year?
Quantity of Output: late last year mum reduced my blogging schedule to every other day. She said it was just temporary BUT I have not gone back to a daily post. Two Swats.
Quality of Output: since she got the new camera, the pupparazzi has been taking better photos of me for the blog so I guess that's not so bad. Two Paws.
Client Pawticipation: I have my very own email address and my own domain (even though we don't used the domain yet) and lots of my friends email me. Four Paws.
Pawticipation part II: I hardly ever get to go in contests that require extra work. I mean, I didn't even get to enter MangoMinster this year. Two Swats.
Client Satisfaction: I usually get 40+ comments on my blog so I hope my friends are happy. Three Paws.
Overall Rating: C-. I do not blog as much as I used to, and sincethat monster Teddy came to live here, I get even less blog time. I am considering giving mum a reduction instead of a raise. Either that, or I get more ham. Actually the ham sounds good.

Finally Friday
It has been so hot here this week that I didn't even want to sit on the floor.
So I sat on mum's bag instead. It was much better.

Mancat Monday
It is very very manly to be super brave and stand up to Polie, even when he is 12 times bigger than you.

Tuesday Telling - Teddy's Story
Teddy HERE, to tell you all ABOUT how I got here!
About three weeks ago, I was lost. I had no idea where my family was and I was very sad and lonely. It was warm but raining, and I didn't know what to do. I curled up under the bushes in the front yard of a house in the street I was in. A lady came out of the house to check her mail and I thought she looked nice, so I came out from the bushes and said hello. She said hello kitty, and scratched me under the chin. But she went inside and left me out there.
I tried to get her attention by crying, but I don't think she could hear me. So I put my little paws up on the window ledge, and tried to look in the house. I didn't know it then but the lady was inside trying not to listen to me cry. She told her husband all about me at lunch that day, and when he came home I tried to say hello to him too. They put out a cat carrier for me, with a nice dry towel inside, and gave me some food and water. I was so hungry I gobbled it all down right away.
The next morning the lady and the man went off to work, but the lady came home early. I was still waiting for her. When the man got home, he brought me inside. I got a new towel to sleep on, some more food and water, and I got shut in the bathroom. The next day, I had to go the v-e-t and they did all sorts of things to me but I was a good boy and didn't cry. The v-e-t said I was 11 weeks old, and I weighed 1.2kg.
I now have my very own comfy bed to sleep in, a full food bowl and plenty of water and toys. I have a mum and a dad, and a big sister.
My name is Teddy Westlife, and I am home.
