Friends, could you all please drop in on my friend Diamond and say hello?  It's his 14th birthday today and he hasn't had any visitors to wish him happy birthday.  I know he would appreciate it greatly.

Sunning on Sunday

I will be very glad when summer arrives, as it has been the coldest and wettest spring we have had for about 14 years - more than all the years I've been alive!

Today I would like to introduce you to my very cute little friend Princess Jasmine.  She is just a baby ragdoll kitten who hasn't been blogging for long and would love to make some new friends.

Thanks for suggesting some captions for my photo on Saturday! Next week I'll choose the one that made us laugh the most and put it up.

This weekend mum and dad went to Lake Mountain to play in the snow. They said there wasn't much left and the weather wasn't too good so I'm glad I didn't go along. They did some tobagganing though and thought that was fun. Me, I think they would have looked very funny.

Thursday on the balcony

It's exercise time!  It's a lot easier to do resistance training - which makes you strong - if you have something to push against.  So any time you want to come over and use my balcony, feel free.

Talkative Tuesday

Have you ever wondered how my mum takes so many photos of me at my level? Especially since she's so tall? Well, if you ever came to my house when mum is chasing me around with her camera, you would be laughing and laughing at her rolling around on the ground.  She does it in the house, on the cold tiles (she doesn't seem to mind that so much when it is really hot in summer) and out on the deck, like in this photo.



Personally, I just think she's crazy.

Sunday Relaxing

Sometimes you have to take time out and relax. Of course, I do that every day.

Finally Friday

I am hoping this weekend is going to be nicer than last weekend, so I can go out on my deck and spend some time soaking up the sun. I couldn't even go out on the balcony this week because it has been too wet! It's not fair.

p.s. see that green plant in my photo?  It is fake.  My mum rescued it from my great-grandpa's house after he died and mum and dad have kept it for years.  It used to be inside but I kept knocking it over so dad decided to "plant" it.  I worry about him sometimes.

Monday Musings

It was a very very very very wet weekend.  We had so much rain I thought my toasty bed might float away!  Because of the rain, I didn't do much.  So here is a photo of me checking out the progress dad is making with stripping our deck, from last weekend.



I had mum put a modesty patch on for me, as this is a family friendly blog.

Saturday Stuff

It is raining here today. We are supposed to get 13 years worth of rain in one day. This is not good for black cats.



I'm going upstairs to bed if anyone is looking for me.

p.s. Sorry I have not been around to visit much this week.  Mum has been really sick and even had a scratch on her eye, which made looking at the computer screen a bit difficult.

Thursday on the balcony

Can you believe it's the second day of Spring in Australia?  You wouldn't know it by the weather; it's still cold and a bit wet here.  So here is a photo of me on the balcony on a sunny day to encourage the weather to get a bit better.



Here's hoping it works.

p.s. I was watching the neighbour's kids playing soccer in their front yard. Actually I was refereeing the game for them. I had to give out one red card. An appeal is pending.
