Monday Musings
The weather forecast for this week is very depressing. It's not meant to climb above 13degC which is VERY cold, pups and kitties.
So I'll be hanging out here, next to my Huffle heater, trying to stay warm. I hope you all have a wonderful week.

Sunday Awards
Um, did you miss me yesterday? For some reason I completely forgot to post! I hope you were not too disappointed to see my modelling shot for two days.
My friend Sherkhan gave me this award during the week, it's the Happy Cat for June award. Thanks Sherkhan!
I'd like to share this with everyone who visits today. Because you all make me a happy cat!

Fashion Friday
I do not usually like to model for the pupparazzi but today I made an exception. My dear friend Tibby and her mum emailed and asked me if I would be interested in modelling for their dog and cat collar company! Of course I said yes. So I went to look at the Scruffy Dog Collars website and chose the Colourful Paisley on Lime pattern for my new collar. It arrived a couple of weeks ago and I finally got to wear it for my photo shoot.
I think the colour stands out beautifully against my black furs! A photo of me in my pretty new collar will be on the Scuffy Dog Collars website soon. They are very nice handmade collars with lots of colour choices so if you are looking for a new collar, I think you should have a look.

Sardinie Bonus Search Results
After spending all that time looking for Sardinie, we also discovered quite a few extra toys that had gone missing recently.
The pink mousie next to my Sardinie is my next favourite toy, and I KNOW that Other Cat was responsible for sending her under the couch because he used to play with pink mousie all the time.

The Search for Sardinie, Part 5
The final place to look was under the fridge. I don't usually play with my toys near the fridge, but mum said dad should look under there anyway, just in case.
AND LOOK!!!

The Search for Sardinie, Part 4
Our next place to look was under the spare bed (my Huffle bed, which I generously allow visitors to sleep on sometimes). The Other Cat used to climb under here so it was definitely a possibility.
All those things next to dad's legs are the spare doona and things that live under my bed.
We found a few toys, as you can see sitting around me here, but still no Sardinie!

The Search for Sardinie, Part 3
The next place to search was under the couch. Note that Polie was overseeing the search.
A few more toys turned up but still no Sardinie.

The Search for Sardinie, Part 2
The first place we decided to look was under the TV cabinet. This has been a favourite toy-eating monster for years in my house so I armed dad with Sardinie Detection Device #1 and we started the search.
The TV cabinet yielded a couple of toys, including Mouseroonie, and a lot of fluff, but sadly no Sardinie.

Missing in Action
Me and Sardinie in happier times.
If anyone has seen my Sardinie anywhere, can you please tell me? He has been missing for over a week now.
I think I know who might be to blame for this.

Where in the world is Huffle Mawson?
If you've been wondering where I've been the past couple of days, you'll find the answer over at Zim's house.
I went over to visit my bestest friend and get some advice about what to do about Sardinie. He's still missing, you know.
Anyway go visit Zimmie and his brother and sisters today to see what we got up to!

Mumday Monday
Today mum gets to post because she was given this award by the lovely Sherkhan's mum and Holly's mum too.
Here are the questions.
1. What would your perfect day consist of?
That would be waking up NOT to an alarm clock, lazy breakfast and then spending some time taking photos on a beach or in a forest. Then a lovely dinner to finish.
2. How would you describe yourself if you were an item of clothing?
An extravagant pair of shoes.
3. What hobbies are you currently working on?
My photography.
4. Walk in the woods in wellies or barefoot on the beach?
Barefoot on the beach, definitely.
5. Have you ever hugged or sang to a tree?
No, but I do it metaphorically because I work in environmental management.
6. Growing your own veggies or nipping to the supermarket?
I tried growing parsley, but a certain little black cat kept snoozing in the pot. We don't have room to grow anything substantial but I have high hopes for my mini orange, lemon and lime trees this summer!
7. Have you found anyone exciting in your family tree?
No, but then again I haven't looked!
8. Slap up meal in a posh restaurant or fish'n'chips from the wrapper?
Posh meal. I LOVE good food!
9. Which element do you most resonate with, Earth, Water, Air or Fire?
Fire. I'm a Sagittarius.

Snoozing on Saturday
When it is cold and wet outside, you have to do the best you can to find a small patch of sun, however temporary, and make the most of it.
So that's what I'm doing today. Or maybe I'll just go and visit Zimmie.

Finally Friday
It's Friday already and we have a long weekend in Melbourne to celebrate the Queen's Birthday. I had no idea Meeshka was famous enough to have a whole holiday named after her but I am not complaining.
It's well and truly winter here now so I'll be spending the morning in bed under the doona, and then the rest of the day next to my Huffle heater. There is plenty of room on the couch for anyone else who wants to come over.

Thursday on the balcony
Here I am doing my resistance training. It makes me fast and strong so I can keep that Other Cat in line. He is going home in a week which is good, as I'm very tired of him leaping out at me and scaring me half to death.

Tattletail Tuesday
Since that Other Cat is still here (just nine days to go, not that I'm counting), my cat door out into the back yard is locked, as he can't be trusted not to run away if he gets outside. So if I want to go out on my deck, I have to sit by the back door and look sad until mum or dad opens the door for me. This is my "please open the door because I am a very deprived cat" look and it works every time.
Of course, since I am a good girl, I never leave the back yard. Well, almost never.

Monday Book Review
Last week, my copy of Housecat Confidential arrived in the mail, especially pawtographed by Fin herself. As it was raining all weekend, mum and I settled down to read it.
It was so entertaining! My very favourite part was when Fin was participating in Shayla's training. Read the book and you'll know what I mean. My mum cried, she was laughing so hard at that part.
Anyhow if you haven't ordered your copy click on the picture above and it will take you to Fin's page which explains how to order the book in various formats.

My very good friend Danielle gave me this award last weekend. It's called the Versatile Blogger award.
There are three rules that go with this award.
1. Thank the cat who gave it to you. Thanks Danielle!
2. Share nine things about yourself.
Well, there's no way I can choose just nine, so everyone who comments today gets this award from me! Happy Sunday everyone!

Friends on Friday
Everyone, these are my new friends Buster, Conway, Stretch and Toes, known as the Cat Herd. They started a blog a few months ago and then their mum ABANDONED them to go and get married. How rude!
Don't you just love the fact the only way their mum could get them all in the same photo was to bribe them with food?
Anyway they are back to blogging again and would really like to make some new friends, so if you could please go and say hello, I would really appreciate it.

First day of Winter
Good news, pups and kitties! Since Winter starts here in Australia today, dad got my Huffle heater out of the cupboard and now I can be all toasty next to the heater again!
I'm not letting that other cat hog my spot either.
