Super present
When mum arrived home from work on Friday, this box was sitting on our coffee table. I had to tell her that the cleaning lady brought it in from the mailman for me. That's right, it was addressed to me, Huffle Mawson!
It's from Casbah Kitten's Etsy shop and now I have my very own Supa Kitteh! My dear friend Angus Mhor sent it to me. Isn't he the best?
I have been playing with my Supa Kitteh but I play too fast for mum to get a decent picture!
Also in the package was a a yummy Jellybean toy. Mum had left it on the coffee table last night and so I jumped up and played with it and knocked it on the floor and chased it around the house.
Thanks Angus, I love my new toys! Mum says she will try and get video of me playing with them but she isn't promising, as I tend to stop moving when the video camera comes out.

Huffle Mawson proudly presents... the new parsley pot!
Once the parsley pot was planted out, I had to do some quality control testing:
I find it to be very tasty indeed!
I'm so happy with my new parsley pots!
I would like to say the BIGGEST thank you in the whole entire universe to Angus Mhor, who ran such a wonderful campaign to get me a new parsley pot. He created an online petition, had the wonderful folks at Zoolatry create the marvellous graphics that you all put on your blogs, and rallied all the cats on the interwebs to convince my mum and dad to get me a new parsley pot. And it worked!
I would also like to thank every cat, dog, hamster, person, horse and other creature who signed the petition, twittered about it and put the "Re Pot Huffle Mawson" poster on their blog. You are all awesome!
That lady Dooce may have gotten a washing machine fixed, but I got a new parsley pot, and that's way better! The power of the paw!

My Misha badge
Can you believe that mum tried to take my Misha badge away from me? It's mine! I held on to it with my ferocious claws.
Then I put it on but you can't really see it too well in this photo:
So I instructed the pupparazzi to go and take a proper photo of the badge (it is attached to my collar, although it doesn't look like it in this photo):
Don't forget to vote for Misha! There are just a few days left to vote.

MouseDuck
During Tweet Week I posted a picture of me with my Mouseduck, and some of you were wondering if it was a new breed of mouse (or duck).
The story goes like this. Mum was out shopping one day (she can't remember where exactly but thinks maybe she was in Ikea) and saw a whole wall of cat toys. So of course she went to have a look for me (I have her well trained).
This duck was there in the cat toy section, but it was labelled as a mouse. So mum had to get it for me. There was also a fish labelled as a mouse, so she got me that one too. She thought it was funny. Mum is weird sometimes.

Just who was that cat?
Earlier this week I posted about this cat in my house. Now I'll tell you why he was here.
His name is Koji, and he belongs to a friend of my dad's. He came over to visit me because our dads want us to be friends. That way, whenever either my mum and dad or Koji's mum and dad have to go away, I can go to their house or he can come to our house and stay.
I don't know if you can tell from that photo but my tail was all fluffy!

Catwalk Caturday
Today has been declared Catwalk Caturday by my handsome friend Misha, and I just had to join in!
This is me on the catwalk, strutting my stuff.
This is me with my best supermodel pose. I don't need to dress up, my luxurious furs are a fine accessory. Also: I don't do clothes.

Tweet Week!
My friend Fin over at Housecat Confidential is celebrating all things feathery this week so I thought I should join in the fun.
Since I have never been able to catch a bird for myself, I usually have mum go out and get them for me. Here are a couple of pictures of birds she's found lately:
These are both birds down at my grandma's house. For some reason, I've never been allowed to visit there. I don't know why. I think these two look super tasty, I mean fun!

New friend
I would like to introduce you to my new friend Danielle. She has only been blogging for a short time and doesn't get many visitors yet so if you could go over and say hello to her that would be very nice. She's a cute little thing who doesn't like to pose for photos!

Top Cat Model update
Have you all been following my friend Misha's campaign to be voted New Zealand's Next Top Cat model? The competition is raising money for charity, so it's for a good cause.

Parsley Pot News
I'm sure a lot of you have seen the campaign that Angus Mhor is waging to get me a new parsley pot. I'm very excited about it and I just know that mum will have to get me a new parsley pot after all his hard work. I mean, how could she not?
Anyway if you want to sign the petition you can do that here. If you want to put one of the pictures on your blog, grab one from Angus's post here. And stay tuned for further breaking news!
I just want to say a big thank you to Angus for taking up the battle on my behalf. He deserves a big helping of ham.

Commentathon results
To every single cat, dog, person or other creature who commented on my 500 post to help me raise money for the Cat Protection Society of Victoria, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
At midnight on Sunday there were 123 comments, which totalled $30.75 to donate to the CPS. Dad decided that he would double the donation and round it up so we are taking $100.00 to them this weekend!
I have also made some lovely new friends this week so it's a double bonus! I have tried to visit every one of you to thank you for commenting, but if I haven't yet, don't worry I will get there!
Cat and dog bloggers rock. So do the humans we own.

Book Review
I had some homework to do this past week. A couple of weeks ago, the lovely people at Allen and Unwin publishers contacted me and asked me if I would be interested in reading a new book about a kitty. I said I would be very keen so this book arrived in the mail last week.
It's the story about a cat called Cleo who adopted a family in New Zealand, weeks after the oldest son was killed in a car accident when he was just nine years old. You can click here to read more about the story.
I had mum read this to me over last weekend and we finished it in less than two days! It was very good and we laughed and cried over the story of Cleo. Mum says she thinks I might have been like her when I was a kitten.
It was a very good book and when it gets released this month you should all try and read it! My mum has given our copy to her sister to read. I hope she likes it as much as we did.

What happens when you have a careless bath
Some of you who follow me on Twitter already know this story but I thought I'd share it with every pup and kitty today.
The other night I was sitting on the couch next to my heater, as I usually do in the evenings. I decided to give myself a bath, as I'd been out rolling around on the deck earlier in the day. Mum was sitting at our iMac and dad was at his computer, Zim.
There was a big CRASH and mum and dad looked all around to see what happened. They couldn't see anything wrong but then mum noticed that the heater had moved. Then I jumped up at her and meowed for sympathy.
I fell off the couch! And crashed into the heater on my way down! It was Not Fun.
Mum picked me up and soothed me but I was not very happy about this event. From now on, all baths will be taken on the floor where I can't fall anywhere.
Don't forget you can still comment on my 500 post to raise money for the Cat Protection Society! You have until midnight Sunday to make a comment (one comment per cat or dog please; humans are allowed too :), tell your friends!)
And finally, thank you all for your kind words about MrSippi. I know his family appreciates them and I do too.

Goodbye my sweet MrSippi
Friends, it is a very sad day in Huffle Land. My lovely boyfriendcat MrSippi had to be helped over the Rainbow Bridge last night. He got a very bad infection and was in terrible pain, so his mum had to make the hard decision to let him go.Until I see you again MrSippi, I miss you and I am always thinking of you.
It would be nice if you could go and visit MrSippi's family today, they are all very sad.

500
That's right, pups and kitties, this is my 500th post! To celebrate, mum got me this sparkly pink bow. I don't usually like to pose but I thought I should for this occasion.
To help me celebrate my 500 posts, and because I am a rescue kitty, I am holding a commentathon today and until the end of the week. Mum will donate 25cents for every comment we get on this post to the Cat Protection Society of Victoria, which is the cat rescue that I came from. You can only comment once but you can encourage everyone you know to comment too.
Also: you should all get some ham or roast chicken to celebrate my 500.

My new pet
I was having a peaceful nap on my bed the other day when suddenly this little guy appeared right next to me!
Look, I have my very own Siberian puppy! Isn't he cute?
Here he is doing a little puppy play bow to me! He's so adorable.
My puppy does not have a name yet. Have you got any suggestions? He was sent to me by my best friend Zim and I wanted to call him Zim but mum says that would be too confusing, because we already named dad's computer Zim. So if you have any ideas for his name, I want to hear them!

Spring has sprung!
Pups and kitties, today is the first day of Spring in Australia! I don't think the weather takes any notice of the dates since it's still cold here but in honour of the start of Spring I am posting this picture of a pretty pink flower to encourage the sun to come back.
Please hurry up and come and warm me up, sun. I'm a bit sick of the cold.
