Thursday on the balcony

We had four spiders in the house last week so mum refused to open the door to my balcony for me, she says they come in the house from out there.

Huffle 321

I say it's not fair and I should be allowed out on my balcony any time I please.  What if the neighbours miss me?  What if the kids are playing soccer and I have to referee?  What if something happens and I don't get to see it?

No, this is not acceptable.  LET ME OUT!

  1. Huffle, we agree with you and your mum! My mom doesn't like spiders either in the house but you really need to get outside. If I was your neighbour, I would really miss seeing you! I hate to say to kill the spiders though....maybe your mum can put up a sign that says no spiders and they will go away! (My mom is strange!) We do hope you get outside soon!! Lots of love, Holly and mom

  2. Why don't you make a deal with your mum that you will kill any spiders that come in the house as a result of you going out on the balcony? My Casper loves to play with spiders...frankly it grosses me out!

  3. Spiders scare the you-know-what out of our mom, but she wouldn't stop us from going out! It's totally unfair of your own mum, Huffle.

  4. Spideys are good hunting, Huffle. Just ask Gracie!

  5. Well why don't woo stomp on the spiders & squish them flat - that's what my bipeds do to 8-legged invaders! Then your mum can see what a good hunter woo are & won't mind letting woo out.

If you caught any spideys that came in Huff, just think how proud your mum would be. Don't give them to her, though, hoomans get all excited wehn you drop them at their feet. Just let her see you stalking the spidey prey and then let her see you licking your lips and she shall be astounded. Worked for Zorro. (doesn't even matter if spidey made a run for it. How closely is she gonna check, really...? ;))

But my parents complain, they want to spend some time with me so I have to do it some time to keep family happy. I bet You do too because we are good boys : )

  8. What to do? I guess raising a fuss is about as good as anything. By the way, Huffle, did you ever decide on a new family since yours wouldn't take you on their vacation. Maybe that is the solution!

  9. I suggest to bust out some Hunter/Killer skills and remove the area of all spiders. Everyone wins, unless you are a spider.

  11. Huffle, tell you mom that if those spiders wanna come into the house, they will figure out a way in. That door's not gonna stop them...

We hope that works for you and you get to go out.

  12. Well, if you were on the balcony, couldn't you scare them away from the house? Try that one on your mom. :)

  13. We don't like spiders either, our Dad got bit by a nasty one. Maybe you could help out by smacking them with your paw.

  15. Oh, poor confined Huffle! I'm sorry to hear that you're stuck inside. I do feel for your mum though - we get enormous brown spiders here, and they scare the living daylights out of me! Although Melly finds them delightfully crunchy.

  16. I think it is bogus that your human is using the lame spider excuse to keep you off the balcony! For example, here we have no balcony and never go outside and spiders get in all the time anyway - let's see your human explain her way out of that one!

  17. You need to add spider hunting to your repertoire, Huffle :)...just so long as they aren't too big and hairy...::shudder::

    Good luck convincing your mom-

  18. Huffle, maybe you should offer to catch the spiders before they get in the house. We love playing with them. They are sooo fun!
Hope you get to go out...
Um, your claws look really fierce!

  19. I agree with G--FREE HUFFLE!!! I would make shirts, but I don't know how. And I don't wear shirts.

Why don't you eat up the intruding spiders and then it'll be okay to open the door and let them in because you'll have everything under control!?!

  22. Huffle, we are totally on your side! Those spiders could be coming in through the front door everytime your Mom goes to work. Maybe she should stay inside?

  23. You just made me feel guilty putting my bunnies in their rabbit hutches most of the time... Indeed animals need to go out and enjoy life but you also have to understand that there are reasons behind all this and for sure it is for the best, naks.

  24. Oh, it is such spidery weather! Hot and STEAMY!

So glad you got your package from me. I know it's not a lot, but it's the glory of winning that counts... right? (And Kate wouldn't let me send you any ham.)

  25. You are quite right, Huffle. And we think that spiders really don't need doors t be open to be able to get in...

  26. Maybe if you caught the spiders and brought them to your mom? The humans always appreciate sacrificed offerings.

  27. yOu got claws right? don't chya know how to use 'em? booowahahahaha!

  28. We are sorry to hear those spiders ruined your good times, Huffle!

  29. Awww Huffle that does not seem fair at all. But... mummy says if your mummy doesn't like spiddy spiders its understandable. Simba says he eats spiders and they tickle hee he. Perhaps if you eat just one the your mummy will think you will catch them all :)

  30. Yes, let You Out, Huffle! you must take care of the spiders, though.

  31. I'z on your side, but did you eats those spiders or at least bat them around a bit?

  32. Oh Huffle! You are so beautiful! Your mom must listen and let you out!

  33. Of... şi ai mei au plecat într-o călătorie, am rămas foarte supărat. Tu eşti un drăguţ, îmi place mult de tine.În legătură cu balconul eu zic să mai însişti pentru drepturile tale.

  34. hey Huffle Mawson,

Of course it is not fair! Cats need their balcony time, and the kids need a referee! Don't cats eat spiders? Just eat all the spiders that come in the house, that way your mum will never see any and the door will stay wide open!
