Monday Musings

The weather forecast for this week is very depressing. It's not meant to climb above 13degC which is VERY cold, pups and kitties.

So I'll be hanging out here, next to my Huffle heater, trying to stay warm. I hope you all have a wonderful week.

  1. It's "funny" how everything is relative, because of course +13C in winter would be blissfully warm to us. It's the -20C plus windchill none of us looks forward to.

But when you live in a hot climate, as you do, 13C *would* feel cold!

So we all hope you stay warm and cosy, Huffle, snuggled up to your Huffle heater. :-)

  2. we will share some of our heats! it's 95 degrees outside but it feels like 102 - according to the weather thingie on TSB's computer. all we know is that it's so hot she won't even go outside, and that's hard to get her to do, she likes heat!

  4. 13C? In the winter? Oh, my, we are seeing 13C at night here and we think its hot. That honorary Siberian title is in serious danger.

  7. You need to plead with Mom to leave you Huffle Heater on for you. Tell all your American commenters who are saying 13C is not cold that it is that cold IN THE HOUSE! Americans are soft with central heating.

Wish we could share some of our warm air molecules with you. We are having to run airconditioning.

  8. We have been getting temperatures of up to 25C for two weeks now which is unusually hot for us. We have to say though that we wish our winter temperature was 13C. The average range is between 4 and 10C with a few days below freezing. Last winter was unusually cold going as low as -16C

  9. Huffle, stay warm!!! We are very hot here and staying inside with the AC going full blast. Seems like both of us are stuck inside! Lots of love, Holly and mom

  10. It is furry hot here, 25C today. And hotter even still tomorrow. Our mum doesn't like the heat very much. We don't mind, but sometimes it does get a bit much with my thick furs.

  11. Huffle - we hope your heater keeps you warm but we sure wish we had your cold here now. Blistering hot weather is no fun for us.

  14. Hi, Huffle!
13°C is cold for me... but having 45°C is not funny... and we have them now!
Stay there close to your heater!

  16. Huffle-Puffle, I hope your mum will leave on the Huffle Heater...you need a corn pillow! It's a pillow made from deer corn and you can put it in the microwave and then sit on it! Keeps your bum blissfully warm!

  17. Heaters and snuggles with one's humans are the best way to get through winter!

  18. We agree, wiv Kea, it's all relative. +13C doesn't seem too bad to us. but we can understand that it's cold to yoo ~ so stay cosy by that Huffle-heater!

  19. Ouch. That is cold, Huffle. But your Huffle Heater looks very much up to the job of keeping your furs warm.

  23. Huffle it sounds like it is a great idea to stay there next to your Huffle Heater! Of course, we are in a place that gets a lot colder, but since we are usually inside we don't really notice it. So it is smart to stay inside!!

  24. We agree that it's not bad weather if it's Outside but if that's the temperature Inside....it's a little chilly. We usually keep our house around 16C in the winter and none of Momma's family will come visit because it's "too cold"! It's great for snuggling though....we think you should drag your mom over by the Huffle heater and snuggle.

  26. You look so cozy curled up to your heater. Sawries that it's so cold; makes it miserable for kits and puppers. It's furry hot here today, Huffle - maybe too hot for you. Noon and 90 degrees, but don't know what that is in C? Oh, just looked it up. It's 32C. Sending some hot Cssss your way!
    xoxoxoxo,

I'm going to have a post furry soon - about time!

  27. Sadly, they don't do a good job of teaching temperature conversion here in the US, so Mom can't even figure out what 13C converts to in F degrees.

Anyway, you're welcome to come here, Huffle. It's about 75F here today and sunny.

  28. Maybe you should get your humans to get you a heating pad Huffle. Mine is heated for 8 minutes in the microwave and then stays warm for twelve hours. It keeps me pretty cosy.

  29. Oh Huffle. Thank you so much for warning our Mummy and Daddy about the weather in Melbourne! It IS, as you say, freezing! It's very different to Adelaide.
Hope you're staying nice and toasty next to the Huffle heater!
